1 of the best halfs IMO.

Cassano is the MAN!

Im just so happy that Italy are playing like a team.

Camo and Totti are holding the ball to much, while Zanetti is to error prone. And none of them are playing.

Good tactic from Trap!

i can't see this game, so in which role is DP playing?
The offence is like this:

--Vieri-----Del Piero--

------Cassano-----

But with DP and Cassano constantly changing positions :thumb:

What a game so far! The Italians have been brilliant, notably Zambrotta, Cassano and Del Piero. The introduction of Pirlo and Gattuso has seen us play free-flowing, entertaining football.

DP is full of confidence. He came close to scoring twice, and has passed the ball pretty well. His dribbling is what has caught my eye though. He pulled the Zizou style 360 so sweetly and some of his turns have been excellent.

Forza Ale, hope he gets his name on the scoresheet :)

Does anyone share my opinion in that Vieri should be replaced by Di Vaio or Corradi after about 60 minutes if he doesn't improve? The support and service to him has been very good, but his finishing exceedingly poor imo.

It's a pity that Gattuso is going to miss the Bulgaria clash due to suspension because him and Pirlo have been key for us. Rather than long balls from Panucci or hopeless balls from Zanetti, we've knocked the ball around confidently like a Real Madrid.

    Italia per sempre!
