like Filakis said Scolari has this thing for Rui Jorge....
but I think Nuno Valente is starting to impress our very very stubborn coach -who already said there might be some changes in the opening match against Greece.I guess Maniche is playing instead of Petit (thank god for that!!! Maniche is the portuguese midfielder in best form!)

Also not having Vitor Baía in the national squad is something that cannot be explained by his qualities,experience,etc...even if Ricardo kept his place,Baia should have been called!

My ideal Portugal squad would be (playing with Scolari's tactics):
