Van der Vaart. He caused Seedorf to be benched for tonight's friendly against the Faeroer and played a decent match, scoring one goal. This lad is here to stay.

Sneijder will probably play RM or something along the lines, depending on the situation.

Ok, I'm going to enter The Sun's dream team competition like Tom, but I need some help. I only have 50m to work with so I need to select some cheap players, but I'm not sure if they'll feature very often.

1) Is Paulo Ferreira likely to start for Portugal?
2) Who's Spain's numero uno? Canizarez or Casillas?
3) Which AM is in pole position to get the nod for Holland? VDV or Sneijder?
1. Yes.
2. Uncertain, at least according to the comments I've seen from the Spanish fans. Canizarez has the number 1 jersey, but supposedly that means nothing.

So both Van der Vaart AND Sneijder will start? Very interesting, but I'll have to take into consideration the fact that Wesley is being played somewhat out of position. I'll also have to check and see who's cheaper in the game.

Torkel - Thanks, man :)

Ok. I've entered :) I personally think my team is pretty good, but I won't post it until the competition starts so as to avoid people copying it.

Good luck, Tom ;)

Yes. Until Advocaat feels the urge to use Seedorf again but I wouldn't put any money on a starting position for the Milan man.

    Cheers

Right now I'm just praying that Canizarez gets the start ahead of Casillas :scared: Btw, we should start a Mini-League. The starter of the mini-league with the highest average score from their top five participants wins £2000 :greedy:

I don't feel like hiding my team anymore :D Here it is :)

    Canizarez (SPA)
Ferreira (POR) Nesta (ITA) M Yakin (SWI) Jankulovski (CZE)
Deco (POR) Totti (ITA) Van der Vaart (HOL) Vicente (SPA)
    Ibrahimovic (SWE) Henry (FRA)

    Is that team affordable?

Paulo Ferreira should be guaranteed to be one the players in our team to play all the minutes in the Euro :)
Deco is not likely to be on the starting eleven but should get some time on the pitch....
though I consider a crime to get that guy on the bench, specially when he's so confident and @ an excellent form!

So Rui Costa's going to get the nod ahead of Deco I assume? That's absolute madness. The Brazilian born playmaker is in brilliant form, and as you said FC Porto, he's extremely confident atm.
