    UEFA Cup draw made
    Friday 27 August, 2004

Parma, Lazio and Udinese will be confident of winning their first round UEFA Cup games after today’s draw.

The Gialloblu will face Slovenian side Maribor over two legs, which will be played on September 16 and 30.

Capital side Lazio will entertain Metalurg Donetsk of the Ukraine, while Greek outfit Panionios are Udinese’s opponents.

The UEFA Cup has a new format this season as winners of the first round games will then enter a group phase – with eight groups of five teams.

Clubs will only play each other once – a total of two home games and two away games.

The top three sides in the group, a total of 24, will then be joined by eight more clubs eliminated from the Champions’ League before the knock-out stages start again.

My fav thread on the forum, the only one place, where I can see Polish team playing in some European competitions :touched:

They SHOULD go through, but believe me, they will have some briliant ideas, how to NOT advance :lazy:

Yes! So many words before the game: we will try, we will do our best. And was that best? Please!
I'm glad cause of first match: they wasnt that bad, so they didnt
    disgrace themsevles so completely.

Oops, not familiar with that :D

First match was pretty good, they shouldn't have lost 0 : 2, but the second one was a complete calamity. And yes they always say they will try and so on... on and on again. It'd have been better if they hadn't gone to the pitch.

btw The song is very funny, I mean the lyrics. :D

I love that word: calamity, it brings to my memory Calamity Jane and Wild West :D

I dont like the most all that talk about how good we're going to be, and then nothng, even no try!
It pisses me off like nothing else!
    Words words words and noting.

    Care to send me? :D
