Cassano is great but Giovinco is better... yea i said that!!! u guys underestimate Giovinco a lot this kid is ultra talent and more complete than the others...
This is Belarus U21, and its not like he's been that great all through the tournament.

Cassano is clearly the best Italian player right now to me, if Giovinco regularly starts for Juventus we can compare.

So it's Italy-Germany and Sweden-England, eh?
That sounds fair. These were the best 4 teams on this tournament.

No-one expected much from Finland and Belarus but Spain and Serbia were disappointingly weak. In Spain's defense though, most of their stars, eligible to play for the u21's, didn't play (Fabregas, Sergio Ramos, David Silva, Pique, Busquets, Mata)

after watching the italy-belarus game i have to say that we can gladly let criscito in napoli if he was thought to be a left back. he does even hesitate more than de ceglie to do anything offensively.

motta again not great (like the hype would have suggested) so i have to say the young full backs of italy do not impress me at all.

i have never judged a player based on match or tournament... and still Giovinco is better than Cassano that's my opinion i see more options in Giovinco i don't find it with Cassano or Rossi....

Fooking hell, this two yellow cards = suspension rule shouldn't carry on from the group stages to the knock outs. I mean, getting two yellows in three games... it happens. Tournaments will only be less spectacular this way, losing many star players on the way. Stupid FIFA/UEFA. And don't tell me it promotes fair play.

Could it be that it was just a bad game for the Full backs?
third game in a row ?

the game before motta was also pretty mediocre and had missed many simple passes resulting in counter attacks ...

the other options left or right as i saw them in the tournament were not versatile enough as full back.

de ceglie has nice crosses but does not have the drive to go down the line and cross. add to that, that he does not really defend well and has a weak composure (which leads to easily being bullied around).

criscito is really sound defensively but has even less drive to attack and does not cross at all it seems.

pisano did not show much in the 12 minutes he played, but when he is even worse then motta than . . .

Highlights for Italy game please?

And bring on Engerland.

The Sweden - England game is played in Malmö or GBG btw? I don't see us losing in Malmö.
