The match was two seasons ago in Kuyt's first. It was a 2-0 win at Anfield. Pennant might have scored, but I'm pretty sure it was Crouch and Kuyt.

Well I guess I'll enlighten you if you really want. Sissoko tends to play well against Chelsea. Believe it or not. I never said Juve would roll over Chelsea, only that Sissoko has been dominant against their midfield on more than one occasion.

You're right about one thing. It is important to catch a team when they are off form, but you can't just sit back and hope for the best. Going into the match with proper tactics and the right personnel is just as important.
Sissoko can handle anybody in the world's game. But the more weapons one fields, the more work that has to be done.

Momo will be a beast against Chelsea. This is not an area we have to worry about.

What we do have to worry about is the fragile defense and inability to keep the ball, the latter being normality.

And watch out for them counter attacks.

Are you sure about that? A guy singing a petition to remove an internet forum moderator from his post might be the saddest thing humanity has ever done.

But hey, go ahead, make us proud!
:lol2:

I'm sure denco knows all about what is the saddest thing a human has ever done

We won't have enough of the ball to be susceptible for counters. Chelsea's strength and efficiency, along with their pace, is what scares me. They're the sort of team that counters us everywhere. Doesn't mean our boys can't one up on them though.

I can't wait to see Amauri rip into the choker Terry. He doesn't know what's coming.

Chelsea is pretty good at abandoning possession for parts of the game too. It will be interesting to see if Juve give the ball back or which of the teams decides to hold the ball the most.

Come to think of it, my wish for a Champions League match consisting of dummy moves at the center of the pitch may finally come true.:D

There is the potential for the first leg of the tie to be one of the most defence minded CL ties ever.

I can't wait.

It's going to be pretty great. 180 minutes of boredom, two Del Piero free kicks nd Juve to play the quarter finals.
