Sissoko actually took both Lampard and Essien out of the match and Liverpool won 2-0 on goals by Kuyt and Crouch. It was a couple of seasons ago. Though I do agree with you that to assume Giorgio will own Drogba simply because he handled Zlatan is dumb. Drogba is much stronger and faster than any striker Chiellini sees in the Serie A. Zlatan doesn't touch Drogba as far as I'm concerned. He may have a bit more technical skill, but Drogba brings athleticism and work ethic to the table.

I do not remember who scored 1 of the goals it might have been Kuyt but Pennant scored the other goal. A liverpool supporter would be better suited to bak me up on this.

It is mainly attention seeking as some of them have no life and go for positions like moderators just for people to talk to them or talk about them.

It seems you have to be blindly loyal to juventus style of play otherwise you are a viewed as a negative pessimistic person.

There are stii quality posters on here like yourself sateeh, alen, vinman, andy and a few that keep changing their names i cannot keep up.

One of the worst thing to have happened to this forum is JCK being a moderator and there should be a petition to remove him as a moderator.

there are far worse moderators here than JCK.

just because you seem to disagree with him on a constant basis does not let the world go under...

especially with other mods that do their mates a favour here and there, make jokes that belong into the kindergarten and other things mods should not do.

No need to sign petitions. I am resigning just to give you, Vinman and Andy some pleasure but when the site goes down, I am in no way making any effort to fix it.

I don't think we are set up to counter a team like Chelsea. We do better against sides such as Barca and Real who play a possession game but cannot step it up a little pace-wise. Chelsea can play a quick, efficient game, plus they have strength through the center of the pitch. We have seen before that such teams cause of problems.

Hell, all the top EPL sides cause us problems because we can't elevate our game and get a hold of the ball.

The match was two seasons ago in Kuyt's first. It was a 2-0 win at Anfield. Pennant might have scored, but I'm pretty sure it was Crouch and Kuyt.

Well I guess I'll enlighten you if you really want. Sissoko tends to play well against Chelsea. Believe it or not. I never said Juve would roll over Chelsea, only that Sissoko has been dominant against their midfield on more than one occasion.

You're right about one thing. It is important to catch a team when they are off form, but you can't just sit back and hope for the best. Going into the match with proper tactics and the right personnel is just as important.
