You can expect regular bashing of Serie A by the usual suspects when that happens, but it's obvious looking at those points that Italy will without any difficulty surpass Portugal next season, even if they win 4-5 points less than them. Actually these last 2 seasons have been very good for Italian clubs in Europe, 14 points they've managed to win, and before that 11 was maximum. It seems that Italian clubs benefit from having one participant less in CL.

The only reason (they might) jump over Serie A next season, is because of the ridiculous year they had when they achieved over 18 points - the year two Portuguese teams contested the EL final. Other than that, their coefficient points in proceeding seasons have been terrible.

EDIT: Correct. That's what really helped the Bundesliga. They traditionally weren't too strong in the CL, but had plenty of teams who were great in the EL and made up ground on Serie A.

I like their back four and attacking options/emphasis, but we can overpower them in midfield. It'll mostly depend on our approach, we can't sit back there and expect something good, they have long been a good and fluent attacking side.

I see 2 options - conte will not rotate our squad to clinch title as fast as they can, so probably we'll be exhausted in the 1st leg in Portugal, or he will start to rotate, we could some points but our primary players will be in good shape for that match, hope he will turn his brain on and choose 2nd option cause we are playing against poor teams

I think it is laughable how everyone is extremely overrating Benefica right now. They may be good but what team have the faced that was any harder than the teams we faced?
Out of the three teams they are the strongest ones IMO. I have no idea how is that overrating.

They've been constantly good in Europe and they have good players. So again, I don't see any overrating.

I'm not saying we don't have a chance.
