Hope Udinese, despite being out, give it a go against Liverpool in the last game.

Would be very funny if the did the double over Liverpool and knocked them out.

Yeah much better season so far for Italian teams in Europe. They need to perform much better in the knockouts than in previous years though.
All three Europa league teams could make the semis, but lets see where they are in the league.

Juve/Milan depends on opposition. And whether Juve can get through to the next round or not.

How do you feel the new management is doing Aaron? How would you compare them to the previous owners? I fear you're heading down the same road.

I think they went overboard initially and Kenny/Commoli didn't do a good job with the investment they were given. Now I think they realize that this is more of a rebuilding process than they thought. I like Brendan Rodgers and I think if he's given time and support we'll be competitive in another season or two. I think he's been great when you consider we regularly start 3 teenagers and have one striker. We're slowly but surely moving up the league table and our performances are getting better.

As far as comparison to the last regime, this one is loads better. One only needs to look at the clubs finances to see this. We don't have to pay huge interest payments every month and we have a small working debt. Plans are in effect to expand Anfield to a seating size competitive with the top ticket earners in the league. So from that stand point I am pleased.

The main problem is with supporters (generally speaking), supporters are like small children. They believe that success should be instant. Even Man City took a while to become competitive year to year. I don't really understand when people say things like "I feel Liverpool are headed down the same road". When the actions of the two sets of owners couldn't be more different.

I think because really, when you look at the investment you've made compared to Tottenham and Arsenal for example and both of those certainly Arsenal lose their best players year in year out yet do considerably better. From a fans point of view I'd be disappointed.

Tottenham and Arsenal both had better bases to lose from when you consider where we were at the end of the last regime. Plus they've actually spent pretty freely to cover their losses.

I agree that the first season under Kenny was a disaster, but I'm not too worried about the future. I think we'll be just fine.

What do you think is a realistic time frame for you to be back in the Champions League? Or an acceptable one?
From year zero I would have thought 2-3 years, but since we fucked up the first year I'd figure 2-3 years from the start of this season.
