The commentator kept saying that big teams don't care about this competition. I don't know why, but I just got annoyed at that dude trying to make excuses for why we sucked.

As much as Italian team suck in the UEFA Cup/Europa League (and theres no denying it), they still have a better record in the UCL compared to the German (and definitely French) teams over the past 10 years.
Whether that is true or not, I don't think it really matters.

Just look at us. We can't even beat New York Red Bull's sister club. We don't even have fans that care to beat New York Red Bull's sister club. Apparently, Juventus isn't an ambitious side in Europe anymore.

Adding this to the general problems in Serie A, maybe the league doesn't deserve more spots than Germany.
