Why you repeat the same thing all the time? I think it might be difficult for some to simply say that they hate Inter so much that they count Inter off the general rule of "Italian teams winning is good for us in the long run".

I don't care about Italy's pride but I'd like to see Milan and Fiorentina doing good in Europe.
I'd like to see them burn. In Milan's case, I wouldn't mind casualties in the process.
How anyone can support the rival's of their team is beyond me.

I don't care enough about Juve to be that bothered about rival teams, but I have never wanted another Scottish team to win in Europe.

Not a single italian club won in this round except Juve.

 for that
:disagree:

We must support all the Italian teams (but not the Argie teams). We're Italian and we should be proud if the other Italian teams win.

Just like Real fans always support Barca when they play in Europe, just like Liverpool fans always support Manchester in Europe, just like Celtic fans always support Rangers, we also must support the other Italians, except those Italian wannabe Argies from Milano.

If it won't influence Juve negatively, then lets support all the Italian teams.
    Inter too.

Ohh, silly me. Inter aren't Italian. They're Argentinian. That's why we mustn't support them.
I don't know man, I have a thing for Inter. I want all Italian teams to qualify but somehow not for Inter. If only Juve, Roma, Milan, Fiorentina were in the CL and Inter were somewhere else then I'd definitely be supporting all.

Oh, and I was supporting them too before Calciopoli in CL. But I just can't now.

Anyway, I can still find a solution to my problem and maybe someday support Inter back in CL. But what remains unsolved is that too many people carry the money issue on their shoulders thinking it makes difference on how far teams go in CL.

alen has got a point. if you are supporting italian teams because it's reasonable and it makes sense and ultimately it is for the good of juventus, then you're being (at the very least) ignorant of the fact that inter is an italian team, just as much as milan, roma, fiorentina, napoli, and juventus

I don't support Manchester in Europe.

    Oh I get it.

He's got a point because he's good at fabricating things that hasn't been said. At least not from my part.

I never said I want the best for all Italian teams because I'm Italian or because it's for the good of Italian football. I just prefer Italian teams and I want them to do better than the English and Spanish mostly.

If Milan plays Celtic in the final, I'm cheering for the Scots.
If Roma plays Liverpool, I'm cheering for the Romans.
If Fiorentina plays Barcelona, I'm cheering for Viola.

But then again, he might have a point because he says things, agrees with them and disagrees when no one has actually said it.

This is what i cannot understand to?

Milan are Juve's rivals, how can one support them?

I for one cannot bring myself to support United or Chelsea in the CL, i will always by default wish them the worst.

It's not true. One might care about the reputation of Calcio, yet he wants Inter to get humiliated. If the other Italian teams do well, one team getting trashed is not important anymore.

I believe that if Italian teams do well in Europe, it will attract superstars to move to the league. Yes, our rivals will be richer and stronger but we ain't a wretched poor team on the other hand. When our rivals bring stars, we have to keep level with them so we will have to go to sign world class players. This way the league will start progressing and it will be attractive and prosperous enough to keep superstars like Zlatan and Kaka.

Things like these don't really make much of a difference. But nonetheless i am interested in understanding people who think differently than i do.

So what i want to understand is, how come you prefer Juve's rivals over Spanish and English teams??

You don't. But my bestfriend, Manchester's fan supports Liverpool, Arsenal in CL;)

Thats rather odd. My United/Chelsea supporting friends would love nothing more than Arsenal to crash and burn in the CL, whether we play a lower level team or we play Inter or Barcelona.

doesnt help though, it's like running a marathon, getting a lead and then crawling the end, hoping the lead you got was good enough
