The Frenchies are also doing well this week. All 3 teams won in CL, including an away win in Liverpool and a win against Bayern. Lille destroyed Genoa. Only Toulouse failed to take any points

Yup the French did extremely and surprisingly well while both the British and the Spanish fucked up while the Italians did ok.

well italy have done well too

except for geona
Yes. I think it's one of the better rounds for Italy in the last year or so.
4 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat. That's 10 points divided by 7 teams....1,428 points added to the coefficient. Very well indeed.

Especially if you compare to Spain or Germany. The Spanish teams won 5 points (7 teams) which is 0.714 points added to their coefficient (half less than Italy) and the Germans won 4 pts (6 teams) which adds 0.666 points to their coefficient.

So, of the maximum 2 points the Italian, Spanish and German teams could win in this round, Italy won 1.428, Germany won 0.666 and Spain won 0.714.

From the other countries in top 5, England won 0.857 points while France won 1.333 points.

The Italians were the best in this round.
