Probably something to do with this:

    Four pots
As the host, Portugal is positioned at the top of Group A. The remaining teams will be split into four pots, with title-holders France placed alongside Sweden and the Czech Republic in the first pot. Seedings are based on the performance of teams in the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifying competition and the qualifying phase for UEFA EURO 2004™.

btw it was from the euro2004 site...

if thats the case then why the hell are czech republic doing thier... they didnt even qualify for WC2002.

Fifa rules dont make any sence to me. For example take a look at the fifa ranking(total rubbish).

...and Denmark is in pot C? WTF is going on here?

Denmark should at least be in pot B. FFS Germnay is in pot B, Sweden is in pot A!

Sweden... I guess it helps when the president of UEFA is a swede...

    Czech Republic...

    Ok, one more time...
Seedings are based on the performance of teams in the 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifying competition and the qualifying phase for UEFA EURO 2004™.

The Czech's and Denmark were in the same group for the WC qualifyers. Denmark beat the Czechs, wins the group - the Czechs go to the play-off's and lose!

Still they're in pot A, and Denmark gets f*cked right in the arse?

Once again... What the f*ck is going on!!!!?

What? Did Lennart Johansson step down as president?

    And wazzup with Holland?
They didn't qualify for the WC, and had to go through play-off's for Euro 2004. Denmark won both their groups - but... you know the story. It doesn't make any sense! Holland are also in pot C, but have more points... how's that possible?

    These seedings are so fishy!

No, Lennart Johansson is president of UEFA, and he is Swedish. Sepp Blatter is president of FIFA, and Swizz.

France is in A because they won the last cup
Portugal because theyre the organizing country
Sweden and Czech Republic because they were the ones that did better in the qualification rounds.

I really hope we (Italia) gets in a group against portugal. Or Sweden, but not the Czechs pleaseee
