Huge difference in quality. Most of the players up there, wouldn't get in Man Utd's bench, i'm serious. Other than Cesc and Sagna(he's better than O'Shea even on current form :D) none of our players would start for Man Utd.

Just as a digression, this is not really a good argument. Who would or wouldn't get into another team has a lot to do with policy and the kind of team you want to build, and the type of players you prefer. Fans always say other players wouldn't get into their team, purely because those are not the kind of players they would like to have. Those players might still be better though, individually.
