Remember what i've said about Arsenal going all the way to the final 3-4 months ago and some here thought this was a joke. I still believe they'll suprise everyone this season....
Yes i do remember. All of a sudden it doesn't seem so far fetched :agree:

As long as it's not an EPL team, the world can live in peace.
If we don't win it. Then i agree, would hate it if Man Utd or the Russians won it. Liverpool i don't mind so much. But i support all the other teams over the former two.

Out of the teams left, here's my order of preference in seeing them win:

Bayern, Villarreal or Porto come in first place
Chelsea or Arsenal
Liverpool or Manchester United
Barcelona
Mine is

Villarreal
Porto (Imagine, they'd have more CLs than mighty Juventus :wallbang:)
Chelsea or Arsenal
Bayern (I can see why so many guys don't mind them winning, they have a pretty sympathetic team, however fuck them having 5 CLs, man :D)
Barcelona
Liverpool or Manchester.

The first 4 teams are all acceptable winners. Any of the last 4 winning it would suck, just that if Manchester wins, it will suck the most.

You guys are underestimating our ability to upset Man Utd if we play them in the semi's. I think United are the best team in Europe. But if given a choice between Man Utd, Liverpool, Barca and Chelsea. I'd choose Man Utd every day. We always seem to up our game against them, mainly due to the fact they choose to play football against us.

I just hope we don't underestmate Villareal. They're a tricky side, and they have a very good manager. Hope Bobby gets a standing ovation in the Emirates too :touched:
If you guys play like you did against Roma you won't even pass Villareal.

We were in a terrible patch of form then. We couldn't score a goal if our lives depended on it, as evidenced by our 4 consecutive 0-0 draws in the league prior to the game against Roma. We have been playing relatively well the past few games, and with Cesc, Ade and Eduardo back for the game against Villareal i'm hoping performances can only get better.

Also, i don't know if you watch Villareal's games in the Liga, but their defending is horrible, makes our defense looks like Italy circa 1982. They're very good going forward, but their defense is horrible.

And if they play like they played all season long, they might even be humiliated by Villareal.

My odds for the outright winner of the CL would be:
1. Liverpool 4.00
2. Manchester United 4.00
3. Barcelona 5.00
4. Chelsea 6.00
5. Bayern 10.00
6. Villareal 20.00
7. Arsenal 25.00
8. Porto 30.00

Liverpool choke less than Barcelona.
Lol

Barcelona and Manchester both have more individual quality than Liverpool. Even as an overall unit they're probably better than Pool. But Liverpool are a nasty team in the CL. They do have a lot of quality, they can easily beat the best teams in the world (even humiliate, as they've shown against ManU and Real) , they have the CL experience, the character needed to win the CL, they have a great and experienced coach etc.
That's why i see them as more likely winners than Barcelona. But as my odds suggest, the difference is minimal.

Btw, if Inter eliminated Manchester, they'd have had an open road to the final, but the chokers fucked up badly.
Probably even win it, since it's in Italy.

Hmm I wonder if any club has ever lost a final that was held in their country.

We lost to Borussia in Munich
