Not by a longshot mate, Man United, Tottenham and City all play better football this season.

Neither Bentdner nor Vela should play. The former because he's crap, and the latter isn't just ready yet. Come to think of it, neither should Denilson, Diaby and Eboue play. First two because they're average. The third, you either play him in his position or don't play him at all. He's a horrid winger.
Comon your being harsh mate,Man United perhaps but Tottenham and City please mate I'm a season ticket holder at City and by no way they play entertaining football sure Robinho is but meh.....

How old is Vela mate?.22?.

It's true. Not everyone is so hooked into your racism culture you know. Just because someone makes a comment that seems racist to your hypersensitive racism sensors doesn't mean it's really racist. All the guy said was why would Italians be supporting a black American president. So what? In any other country that sentence is perfectly fine. Not everyone is as PC as you guys.

All I'm sayin. We are speaking English here but that doesn't mean every sentence is automatically placed within American contemporary culture.

And not without reason. Germans have good reason to be skeptical of nationalism too. Just that it doesn't mean any occurrence of nationalism anywhere is automatically nazism.
But it was a Belgian who thought it was racist at first. :shifty:

Even though the English big teams are still (much) better than the Italians, i can definitely see an improvement in the Italian camp and the difference is not as big as last year.
Remember last year how the Italians couldn't even score a goal? How Arsenal destroyed Milan? How Liverpool easily eliminated Inter? How Manchester toyed with Roma?

This year at least no Italian team was clearly outplayed (i don't think that they were outplayed at all).
Serie A is stronger than last year, the Italian teams are better than last year. Logically things should be even better next year.

Manchester United-Ferdinand,O'shea,Carrick,Scholes,Giggs,Rooney,Evans,Fletcher.

Arsenal-Ermmmm Walcott?.(good example m8 I agree here)

Chelsea-Terry,Lampard,Joe Cole,Ashley Cole.

Liverpool-Gerrard,Carragher,Finnan?.

I've included Brittish players also.
O'Shea, Giggs and Fletcher aren't fucking English.

British is irrelevant. They claim to be ENGLISH, so O'Shea, Giggs and Fletcher don't count.

Finnan doesn't play for Liverpool.

finnan moved to spain and replaced him with a foreigner. truth of the matter is Italy is around 40% foreign in contrast to the epl which is nearer 70% and up till a year or 2 ago, there were no foreign managers in serie A either, thats till mihajlovic and Mourinho became managers of bologna and inter respectively

I've watched quite a few City games this season, even though they aren't the best team out there, they're rather fun to watch, yes mostly because of Robinho but Ireland and SWP are fun footballers to watch as well.

Vela is 20.

Completely agree here. Roma outplayed Arsenal today, and Juventus to an extent Chelsea yesterday, no way it was like last year.

No, Martin, it was a racist post.

It could imply two things:

1) Italians supporting a black president is wrong.
2) It is strange of Italians to support a black president, which means he was labelling them racists.
1) It never implied such thing.
2) Well, it IS strange for one who only follows Italian football and is witnessing racist jeers and mocks against Black players week in week out.

Two per starting eleven.

Maldini, Pirlo, Gattuso, Favalli.. Milan have quite a lot of Italians if you compare them to Liverpool or Man U.
Thanks for that, like I said mate I don't support a premiership team so its no bovther to me but the attacking of Fred because he was happy Arsenal got through was unprovoked.

This is nuts. There's absolutely nothing racist about it at all:

The only reason you think it is is because you're trying to see racism in everything. If you stop trying so hard you'll see it for what it is, a perfectly legitimate statement.
I'm trying to see racism in everything? Me, the one who is constantly called a bigot? That's rich.

It implied all Italians hated black people. How is that not racist?
