Fanboy ,far from that but at least I can say when he's good.I liked how he played in the first but he was terrible like everyone else in the second half.
Cesar is arguably the best keeper going in football right now, IMO. Today was no exception.
Perhaps Manchowder's best player, IMO, was Evra -- despite his handball.
I don't understand why the announcers kept going off about O'Shea's great play. Too many times he was left on his ass while Muntari or Ibra ran circles around him. I know the guy is just off an injury, but he was a major liability on the pitch today.
Well, he's been tested more than Buffon and did better to stop shots lately. Buffon will get back to the top of his game. But right now Cesar is on a serious hot streak.
You only saw the second half: I have seldom seen a more onesided first half without a goal. To be honest, United were a different class. Can't see International doing anything but going out now.
Van Der Saar was amazing as well, I don't know about that, can't say if he is any better than Buffon, but with the record he had kept, there is a possibility, but then again, Manchester has an amazing defense, the way the were handling attacks with all calmness, sadly, Buffon doesn't have that advantage.
Having been to a Portuguese league match where I saw 13 yellow cards issued, or having seen many a cheap penalty or dangerous free kick awarded that changed the outcome of the match on the most bogus of evidence, I challenge that you have a pretty low standard for what makes "atrociously bad" refereeing.
