Sure, but we dont care about Ma UN now.
Zenit only proved that little has changed for them since last year and the summer vacation that affected us, didnt affect them.

Being a relatively small team, ppl tend to underestimate them, but this game proved that they are here to stay.

Unlike other wonder teams that come and go, they ave the necessary resources to sustain their stars and keep their power. And they can still deliver at the top competition.
Thats is what they proved today!
They are def not better than Man un, but they are as good as they were!
On the positive, they have another big occasion (Real M) before taking us on, if anything I think tiredness will get to them.. I can only hope its sooner rather than later....In saying that they have a two week break after their next fixture.

I agree with underestimating, it would be foolish, but I dont see that happening anymore.. or atleast i think.

LOVED the way Danny walked thru the ManUtd defence for the 2nd goal....was fuckin' SAD

but offensively they did look good, Rooney looks quite lively in the deeper position...the EPL has already fucked up Tevez though, plays like a lost dog running all over the place

Just remember that, as good as Zenith were tonight, a Sissoko-Poulsen midfield will make life a lot harder for them than a Scholes-Anderson pairing.

Once we lose 3 goals against Fiorentina I'll return to normal, but I try to stay positive until the season starts.

I know that Zenith were running rings round the Utd CBs, even though their CBs are better than ours.

I know our weaknesses.

Given that going on about them won't help the situation, I just tend to hope things won't go as badly as I fear.

No point in voicing them either.

It's not like Secco or Blanc will look at this forum and think 'Shit, I really ought to sign some new fullbacks and a new CB and maybe see if we can't get a better coach while we're at it'.

I have no idea why someone would want be a sheep but hey, that's just me.

Although I find you signing up for a forum pretty redundant considering your opinions.

Sorry bro, but I don't really rate Ferdinand and Vidic. I don't think they could make Palermo's Serie A.
I rate them very high, but the way Ferdinand defended against Danny at the goal even the 12 yo kids would be ashamed.
That was amateurish defending. Without taking anything away from Danny, but Ferdinand did everything wrong in that duel and the Ferdinand i know from the previous seasons would have taken the ball from Danny with ease.
Vidic was good tonight, imo, and he's becomming one of the best 5 Cbs in the world (if he already isn't)
