i wonder why Olympique Lyon is in Pot 1
Bayern are the champions of germany and have a record of winning the CL while lyon did not win at all.
Because Lyon qualified for the cl every year and they even managed to get reasonably far in CL the last few seasons, while Bayern hasn't even reached CL last season, the rankings are based on the results in Europe in the last 5 years if I am not wrong.

In my opinion,

Worst Possible Scenario:
Mau Utd
Bayern Munich
Juventus
Fernerbache

Best Possible Scenario:
Lyon
Sporting Lisbon
Juventus
CFR Cluj/Aalborg/Borisov/Anorthosis

Is it in the group stages, clubs from the same country will not be in the same group ?

Imagine this:
Inter
Roma
Juventus
Fiorentina

:D

That would be interesting :D is there a rule against having more than 2 teams for the same country in the same group?

Yes.

It's a disgrace we're in pot 3. Then again I don't mind a tough group phase. Our chances of winning the damn thing are slim at the very best. I just want us to play some nice games.

yea I believe that is the rule

and we already have a CL thread, Maher
No I don't think its a rule. I am fairly positive that in the past 2 teams from same country were found in the same group. The question is, is there a rule on having more than 2 teams from same country in the same
