We should still be ahead of Barcelona in an unbiased ranking system, such as World Soccer Magazine's a few years ago.

And even if we're behind them, it's OK. They're another team filled with gloryhunters that switched over from Valencia during their days of hate for Real Madrid.

I've never seen a team choke like Manchester did tonight, after Eto'o's goal they were like a Serie B team, or even more inferior. Well deserved win for Barcelona, I really enjoyed the CL final for once.

You did?
I didn't enjoy it at all apart from the first 10 minutes and the start of the second half where at least something was happening. In the meantime all you could see was Manchester doing nothing but choking and Barca passing around till death.

This was the most boring final i've seen in a decade or so (people say Milan-Juve was the most boring one but i was a fan and it certainly wasn't boring for me :smile: )

Next year an Italian team has to win it. Inter won't, Milan probably won't so we will have to protect the honor of Serie A.


Diego is the key to victory. But we need Ferrara too, I don't see us winning with Conte on the bench.

those people who say that are the same people who think every final should consist epl club, or the final is indeed boring.

I enjoyed it because I can't stand Manchester United and seeing them choke was fun. I was only wishing that it was some other team than Barcelona because even if it were Lecce they would have won against such a United.

From a very neutral perspective, the first 10 minutes were enjoyable but at the same time disappointing because it would have also been a one-sided final had it stayed like that.

We were watching the game here at my place and I had four Barcelona fans as visitors and they were extremely disappointed that Manchester didn't show up, they wanted to watch a match but it was, as a commentator on TV said, like Barcelona eating chips and watching a movie.
