Cassano laughs off Juve chances Friday 15 August, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus may be looking towards Champions League glory, but Antonio Cassano thinks getting to the quarters would be “a miracle.”

Claudio Ranieri’s men crushed Artmedia Bratislava 4-0 in the first leg of their preliminary round tie and Gianluigi Buffon has already said reaching the Final is possible.

“Will they get to the Final? It would be more than a miracle,” shrugged the Sampdoria starlet in a Press conference.

“It would already be an extraordinary result if they got to the second round. Have they seen how many great teams they’d have to meet along the way?!”

Cassano didn’t pull his punches when passing judgement on the world’s top talents either.

“Ronaldinho is better than Cristiano Ronaldo, but both lag behind Leo Messi,” said the former Real Madrid man.

He's not right at all, that's if he spoke such words which I doubt. We have a very solid team, maybe not the best but we have the will and............................................ del piero :).

I don't want to sound like a lunatic, but we can win it this year.

I think Juventus have a legitimate shot at the CL next season if they shore up that defense. But who knows, my team is never the best in the tournament yet we seem to always make it pretty far. And trophies are never won by playing them for the next season.;)

I mean, come on! freakin' Porto won it.

Cassano  Little primadonna prick who thinks he's Maradona. He's got trouble scoring 5 goals a season and doesn't really make a lot of assists and some people jerk off about seeing him in a Juve shirt.

Oh wow, he dribble a guy. So what? He's got 9 more in front of him and can't do sh*t. Give me a break!

Salute! :champ:

I hear you Mark.
I think biggest point here is that Cassano plays for Samp. Not Milan, not Roma, not Inter, hell not even Fiorentina and people are asking his opinion on Juve? That's some joker reporting.

Unfortunately I happen to be one of those , I like the way he plays, he's elegant to say the least. However I'm sure he didn't say any of those words, media bullshit.

    Cassano :howler:

I think he better shut the fuck up. The real miracle here would be if he scores more than 6goals this season. That little fag.

He's right, we do need a miracle. But maybe he has forgot that with players like: Bufon, DP, Pavel, Camo, Trez, SISSoko, Chiellini. We are more than able to achieve such a miracle. No matter what team is thrown at us, if it's Barca, Man u, Bayern or Inter. They will always find it difficult to beat the old lady.

learn the definition of a miracle please. either our players suck and we need "divine intervention" to reach the final or our players are good and they get us there. you can't say that the players are good enough to get us there, yet if he do it will be a miracle.
