I am watching the Arsenal highlights again now and I can't but notice that they don't have anyone in the box, all the chances they have 4 or 5 players outside and one of them goes in SOMETIMES. They shoot from far away and when they come in they don't have assistance to make something special, with this way you cannot score against Milan, I don't know how do they manage in the league.
Because there's no team like Milan in the Premiership, that's why. Milan are defensively and tactically superior to any English side by quite some margin. They might not be showing it in Serie A, but Serie A isn't really Milan's thing.

I don't know about that. Adebayor is a force at least who couldn't find his feet tonight. Don't like that wanker though.
I haven't seen him play as I don't watch EPL games but from what I saw tonight he was not impressive at all.

Its probably because there they are facing the best and they are more focused to score, cause after all epl has the best players and is the best league in the world.

But in europe, especially against a team like milan, you sure dont have to give as much effort, its a team what comes from fixed league and have players who could be some of arsenal players fathers age.

Can't say I agree with you there Andy. I think it more or so had something to do with Arsenal lacking a seasoned strike force up top. Milan had difficulties running at Arsenal's defense and seemed shocked to see Eboue going up the flank with pace a couple of occasions. Arsenal like to pass around the edge of the box in the Prem before finding the perfect shot. That kind of space doesn't happen in the CL against good teams. But I wouldn't say Milan are so superior otherwise they would have won.

his strong and his clumsy, usually he scores the 3rd or 4th goal for them. Although he did hit form, but he is clumsy, just like today, not the best of first touches.

Milan wouldn't give Arsenal the space no matter what competition it happens to be. Adebayor is top of the charts in scoring in the Premiership, so I don't think we can place attribute the performance to the lack of a strike force. Milan is actually the side without goalscorers up top, something that has hurt them for a while now.

Milan always seem to get the better of English sides. They've been knocking Manure out of the competition for a couple years running, and now it seems like they'll take care of Arsenal at home. A draw is a good result for them considering the circumstances, and they didn't give Dial much around the box and through the center of the pitch.

Milan isn't vastly superior to the top English teams in terms of tactics and defending, but they still are superior IMO. They've been proving that for a while now in the Champions League.

Actually when we played the 4-5-1 in the league we had trouble scoring too, its the formation, it offers no adequate support to Adebayor and keeps him isolated upfront, ever since we changed back to our normal 4-4-2 in the league Adebayor has been banging them in for fun.

the boss was a little too cautios today imo.

In all fairness, Liverpool have been knocking out italian teams almost every year too though.

Was it me or were they only using 3 against 3 attackers?
At times they were using 5, but playing 3 or 4 or even 7 in Celtic's back doesn't make a diff. They have the worst defenders I've seen. Terrible marking, they can't even pass, all Barcelona's goals came from their wonderful passes.

For a while I thought conceding goals will lead you to CL quarter finals.

    BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..............

looks like Moratti forgot to pay the European referees.......

Oh he paid the guy, just not enough. 3 handballs in the box, 2 legitimate penalties and none called. Should have been 2 nil before Kuyt's goal.

As for Matrix, he was beaten badly on the first foul even though Torres slipped. The second was more of the same only that he grabbed Nando's shoulder. I have no sympathy for that fool.
which one Enron ? i saw Cordoba's and Vieira's handball but didn't get the other .
    Enlighten please :drill:

    Serie A fans aren't biased?
Didn't say that, but I'm talking about the fans who think "English football is the best" and continue blasting Serie A without good reason. There are still idiots out there who think Serie A sides should be banned from Europe after the scandal and because of the stadium violence. One fool even stated that Serie A sides should have been banned from Europe for 3 years after killing that police office in Catania. So, by his logic, the English league should have been banned for 117 years from Europe.

I come across these wankers all the time on various football websites. Add in the wankstains I see on FSC, and you got yourself some good hate.

Celtic defenders is probably the worst thing in Champions League last 16.
Caldwell in particular is completely useless.

it is annoying how somebody that bad can play at CL level and for Scotland. Whats more is that he thinks he is brilliant and is a complete arse about it. :melayyanandmessi:

i still remember him kicking lumps out of Trez and trying to wind him up when Scotland played France a few years ago. Trez's response was to finger the score (4-0 at the time) back at him, priceless! :rulz:
