Demarcus Beasley finally showing what he's made of!!! A goal and an assist against Lyon, who would have thought.
a superb victory for Rangers, they definitely didn't deserve to win 3-0 but they took their chances which is so important (just look at Roma). It seems French teams have some sort of curse against the Scottish sides at the moment.

well, its more telling the truth. o'shea is rubbish.

I wouldn't mind constructive criticism of my own players if it is fair about their performance.
constructive??

Rooney is the shit...sure he's overrated..but the kids talented you got to admit.

Lyons problem is that they have a joke of a manager..i wont be surprised at all if he doesnt win them the league.

yeah their manager is terrible, i don't know how that guy keeps getting jobs he's like Souness.

The also seem to lack a spark between midfield and attack. All they really do is long shots. I don't know about missing Tiago; Kallstrom was excellant, but they look like they miss Malouda. Benzema is a great player though!

Benzema is talented..did you see his goal against Lens last weekend??pure magic..they do miss Malouda very much..Kader Keita isnt anywhere near his standard..Belhadj is a wingback not a winger..hope Perrin realises that.

Perrin is terrible..one good season with Sochoux is all he's done.

    Here's the big question

Why is it good for Italian football if Roma or Milan win in the Champions League but with Inter it's not the case?

    I want logical answers.

It isn't good for Italian football if an Italian team wins the CL, it is just good for the team that wins it.

"Binter are pig they shpld go the stable" - Turk Bianconero

"I love Inter about as much as I love cutty my own Paul Dickov." - Burke

I’m not so sure if this makes it good for Italian Football. But let’s say Roma are the 3rd or 4th best team in Serie A, and Manchester United are 1st in the Premiership. Well if Roma beats Manchester United, theoretically doesn’t that mean that Serie A is a better league than the Premiership?

I know sometimes it’s lucky in the CL. But when you consider everyone will put out there best squad to win it, even in the group stages it’s pretty even.

I'm sick and tired of the "advantages" Manchester United get in every single game. I don't care much for Roma, but Manchester United are becoming blatant cheaters.

would you seriously call inter an italian team..??

they did not have any italians in their line up today..

the only advantage of an italian team to win the CL is to gain uefa points..

So how is it good for Italian football if Milan wins? Milan have lots of Brasilians.

Milan have Nesta, Gattuso, Pirlo, Inzaghi, Gilardino and Oddo.. they are building the most important part of their team.. Include also Kaka to them. as you see the italian effect is big there..

    Did someone suggest that?

Anyway, any Italian team doing well in Europe and in perticulary Champions league is good for Italian football.

On most obvious level, Italian football gains UEFA points and we can have 4 teams in Champions league. Many people around here think its a given. It is not. Sweden only has one representative that has to play two qualifaing rounds to get to the league states.

Also, with Italian teams doing well, level of interest for Italian football (within the country but also abroad) rises and there is more money injected in Italian football. So on a lot of levels, its good for Italian football if any Italian club does well.

The only bad things is that your cross town rival does well, because it increses its fan base on your exspence. But I guess we dont have to worry about that. But teams like Milan and Inter or Roma and Lazio do.

Ok, fine. I will follow your logic and re-ask the same question

Why is it good for Italian teams to do well in the Champions League bar Inter?

I thought the ref did a decent job. You've got to admit, Roma missed many good chances. I will agree that Carrick's tackle on Mancini should have ended in a penalty. This hardly means Man U cheated. The truth of the match, though it was an ugly one, was that the Mancs had one moment of brilliance, while Roma had many moments of misses.
