Anyone see Shaktar's disallowed goal against Celtic? No way was he offside.
An outrage. An absolute outrage. I think Shaktar should file an official complaint. I don't want to see that linesman ever again on this level. He was standing right there FFS. How could you miss?

LFC should hand him an 8 match penalty even if UEFA doesnt. That foul was horrible,HORRIBLE.Like, the ball was already out before he decided to tackle the player instead of the ball. He's a decent player, but he fucks it up too often.
Oh come on. It hardly warranted a yellow.

It wasnt stupid, i thought it was ignorant. To me he went into that tackle trying to make the point that such tackles should be legal, epl players do that quite often.
I disagree. I sy stupid because there was no chance of getting the ball, he was already booked and, even if he had got the ball, there wasn't any benefit for him.

I don't think he was going in to prove a point, Pennant is just a fool.

Also I think you are being unfair on the EPL. It is not nearly as dirty as it used to be. It is still more physical than Italy, but not any dirtier.

madrid look really good and they didn't have Diarra in the team to shutdown the other team's attacks. They seem to have good understanding between eachother but still a bit wasteful in front. They will get clinical as time goes on.

On the other side Werder were much better than i expected, they look like they were on the same level as last year in the CL.Once they have their big players in the midfield back they will become a bit better but not much.I see them making the Uefa cup again. Replacing a player like Klose with Sanogo or Rosenberg will never improve a team.
The good thing for them is that Diego is still in the mood and he is an absolute gun.

Reals defence still leaves a lot to be desired though..but it was a very good performance from the midfield..keeping possesion well and creating chances.

Not as much as Chelsea though.

I don't think the foul was very dangerous, had it been Carrager or Hyppia doing such a thing you might have a slight case. It more Pennant being a constant idiot all game and the referee being tired of his bollocks. Had it been his first foul of the match I doubt it would have warranted much more than a free kick.
