Don't rule out Inter so quickly. Valencia has a big advantage now but they're nowhere near being certain of advancement.

Yeah but his passing remains awful.IMO Mascherano is a more complete player so he would be better for us, but now it is late:cry:
In Liverpool's midfield, there are two of Europe's best passers; Alonso and Gerrard. Hence, I think that the presence of a player like Sissoko suits their playing style very much.

looks like barcelona really choke

ronaldinho is the shit
Also Belleti, Saviola, Motta and the legendary Catalan aka Victor Valdes. :D

Valencia just proved that Serie A is a joke!
Valencia wasn't that good, they had two wonder goals but that's it. Not to mention that the foul that was followed by Villa's freekick was the most ridiculus referee call ever.

I know most of you WANT Serie A to be a joke when were not in it. It's stupid in my opinion, I don't want my favourite team to come back to a cirkus league. Sour grapes.

Yeah that was no foul, still Villa took an amazing freekick.

I agree with the last as well.

I didn't rule them out...just wanted 2 say that Inter's supremacy in A isn't due to their strength as much as its to the weakness of other teams :smoke:

Do really love gloating?

By the way, I like gloating more. :D

Valencia just proved that Serie A is a joke!
Valencia have just proved that Inter is a joke and not Serie A. Serie A is a victim of the Calciopoli exactly like La Vecchia Signora.

Keep dreaming Andy

You really expect THIS Barca we watched tonight to beat L'Pool in Anfield?they were worse than what I thought.

Forza Liverpool :p
Nah I don't think Barcelona will win at Anfield. They might make it close and require Benitez's side to worry, but in the end it will probably be an entertaining draw.

I sort of suspected Liverpool upsetting the Catalans tonight... again it's not the first time Benitez has caught the better of Barca.

Regarding Barcelona Vs Liverpool match, there are a few points:

1) Tactically, Rijkaard failed completely to control the midfield centre. Motta is a flop as a defensive midfielder and there was no harmony at all between him and Xavi.
2) Giuly was in a better form than Messi and this was obvious from the previous weeks. Even though, Rijkaard preferred the latter to the former.
3) Victor Valdes made two mistakes; one of them resulted in Liverpool first goal and the second one led to two consecutive chances by both Gerrerd and Kuyt.
4) Ronaldinho was insisting on attacking from the centre and it was completely blocked by Liverpool's defence.
5) The substitutions made by Rijkaard were howlers (Especially: Xavi in and Inesta out). Hence, all the midfield players are attacking players, a thing which was dangerous on Barcelona and it might have led to the third goal.
6) On the contrary, Benitez read the match accurately when he placed three players in the centre.
7) Bellamy played two roles; attacking from the left flank with Riise and assisting Kuyt as a second attacker.
8) Aggar and Carragher were a good pair in Liverpool's defence.
9) Ronaldinho was strictly marked.
10) Deco and Puyol were Barcelona's best players, I think.

pool game was completely useless as always, meanwhile would have loved to see the 3 other games live. Porto had some fantastic moves, that Postiga sequence was almost unreal. :D Lyon game seemed a huge mess, Roma apparently gone out to break every leg. Meanwhile Valencia were pressed by Inter but came back twice and both goals were fanstastic! :star:

Haven't seen the match yet but this point I can comment on. I disagree. Messi just came back from his injury and have only played two games since his return, both times he's been a fresh breeze in the troubled Barcelona. Giuly doesn't ever seem to be better or worse, though i think messi is, even at this state with little match practice, better then giuly
