I want to see the reactions of some people when Inter DO win the CL as they are a squad that has depth to play on five different competitions and they are more boring than Greece 2004.

Pretty stupid thing to say, of course inter wants to win the champs lead. What he should say is that they don't want to win it so they don't look so stupid when they get knocked out

Bremen's Attacking Game Suits Us - Rijkaard

Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard suggested that Werder Bremen's tendency to keep attacking would suit Barcelona's game on Tuesday evening.

zoom - galleria "The pressure is not on us, but on them, because they have declared they are going to qualify," said Rijkaard on the eve of the game. "They are confident that they are going to win, not even draw.

"Now they must demonstrate that in the match."

Having suggested that Werder had put more pressure on themselves with their remarks, he went on to suggest that their attacking attitude would be "an advantage" for Barcelona.

"It is an additional motivation that Werder Bremen say they are better than last year," he continued, speaking about Barcelona's frame of mind. "Werder are a great team, and we will have to fight, but we are playing at home, in front of our suporters. We are confident, and will go for them."

However, he also had a word of caution for his team, insisting that it was not necessary to overdo it: "The matches last 90 minutes, and we do not have to play like we are coming from behind. We just need to win."

The Dutchman refused to put pressure on the Ronaldinho, when asked if he was hoping for the Brazilian to showcase his potential: "Has he not demonstrated it already? We all know what Ronaldinho can do, and he does not have anything to prove. He is a very important player for us, but we cannot depend on a single player. Collective work is more important."

I´m not underestimating Werder, but I seriously think Barcelona will thrash them, Barcelona is more experienced in this kind of matches and they always have luck on their side.

Home turf is also a big advantage to them and like m_elayyan said, Werder style of play suits Barcelona´s.

It could be the game of the year so far.

True, even Cuper came out and said that this year Inter are cynical. We know how to punish teams.

But our displays in Rome and Palermo were pretty good I thought.

Regarding depth, both Chelsea and Real have better options on the bench than we do. Recoba for one doesn't count :D , and it's not as if we have loads of central midfielders either.

pretty badly it seems!
poor reggina
nyways if u meant punish them during matches, i guess scoring a goal n not dominating the match and ending up as winners is a form of punishment

When I read Reggina, I just don't know why the name Paparesta pops to my mind.. hmm..

and yes, the bolded part is what I meant. Domination ? rotfl, who gives a shit about ball possession stats.

It will be interesting to see this "cynical" Inter take Bayern in their fortress. That game would give some indication about how good this Inter team is.IMO the Bavarians would eat them alive.

abt some of the big games, one of the following wont reach the 2nd stage imo(Man U,Arsenal,Barcelona)
