milan were totally outplayed, but still managed to win, the contrary of what happened two yers ago.
Hopefully now Milan spend all their money on Ronaldinho and have nothing left for Gigi.

Yesterday i decided:

If Inzaghi had to commit suicide by jumping out of a 20 storey building, when he reaches the last storey a truck full of matresses would stop exactly beneath him and he would survive. Such a lucky prick. The ball hit his face/arm and he went celebrating like he scored an overhead kick from half pitch.
I knew Milan were going to win, cause of a type of superstition i have. In the World Cup i watched every game of Italy at my house except two and we won all except the two i watched out vs Australia and vs USA, those were the two matches we suffered most in.
With Milan its the other way round, the matches i watch at home they lose and the ones i watch out or don't watch they win. At home i saw first leg vs Celtic, first leg vs Bayern and first leg vs Utd, i watched the second legs out, and they won in all...i also watched the final out and they won.

You know Turk, I know you love Juventus and you´re always defending them, but you should really stop talking out of your ass sometimes.

Well at least Italian football has something to smile about after a year of scandal upon scandal. The game itself was full of ironies and i totally expected the outcome. In 2005, Milan had a better team than in 2007, Liverpool had a better team than they did in 2005. Milan were far the better side in 2005 and it could be argued that Liverpool were probably the better side last night
Most of the Milan players yesterday were poor by their standards, Kaka was marked so I did not expect him to shine that much just like Ronaldo was against Milan but not maybe as much. Seedorf was invisible and gave the ball away at times, Pirlo was average and Gatusso was surprisingly poor. Maldini says he wants to continue but I think he should retire as he is geting to the Mattheus stage now of going on for too long, Jankulowski had a shocker but I was not surprised as I dont rate him at all. Ambrosini was very good, pick of the midfield, Oddo was decent even if I don't think he is intelligent, Inzaghi was excellent but Nesta was supreme. As for Liverpool well Gerrard huffed and puffed but nothing of great quality , Pennant was the best forward for them and thats not a good thing. They did play well but did not attack with a lot of players, they played too safe
This year though did show me that if you are to compare the 3 big leagues, at the top end as in the first 4 teams or 5, the Epl and serieA and I am including Juventus in that category would shade La liga as I think Inter, Milan, Juve and Roma for seriea, Arsenal, Liverpool, man united and chelsea are better combined than Barcelona, Real Madrid , Valencia and Sevilla or whoevever is the toast that season. But as a whole from top to bottom then La liga has far more quality than serieA and Epl as Fiorentina, and at a stretch Lazio and Palermo apart there is nothing in serieA. Whilst in Epl Tottenham is the only team outside the top 4 that I rate at all, the rest are just from average to really poor. But La liga has about 12 teams which are decent

Rab, i accept the situation where Juve fans wanted an Italian team to win CL. I don't understand these juventini and i'll never agree with their reasons for supporting Milan, but i accept this weird situation and i have no hard feelings for them.

But a Juventino being emotional and crying a tear of joy about Maldini lifting the cup is too much for me to understand

    Improvement like nothing ever
    24/5/2007

The improvement in Italian football since the biggest game in Europe this season has been really significant, especially the last few hours. The teams on their training grounds all over Italy were witnessed to be playing football like nothing ever played.

This phenomenon has even reach the lower divisions, school yards and on the streets of Italy. Players and people are playing the best football to be ever played.

Inter's chairman Massimo Moratti to La Gazzetta today, "Milan's win is Italy's win. We benefited directly from it and our players and staff have got some sort of divine energy"

Moratti added, "We are proud to be playing alongside the European champions in the same league"

Giovanni Cobolli Gigli "We have gained promotion last weekend but this is nothing compared to what Milan have done to Italian football last night. We feel humble to be going to a league to play where the kings of Europe play. It is a pleasure for us to be with them."

FIGC has held a meeting with the Italian clubs presidents asking their clubs and fans to stand by Milan when playing in the coming Champions League. They agreed unanimously.

Preparations on supporting Milan to dominate the Champions League will take place in collaboration with all Italian teams and their fans.

Luca Pancalli was caught after the meeting and he announced, " we will try everything to please Milan, they are a great asset to Italian football and their victories in Europe is helping the other teams, the league and the nation as a whole. I won't be exaggerating if I say it also good for the EU's economy. Our project is to provide all the resources available to Milan to keep up their good work. We have already asked Zambrotta to return to Italy and hopefully join Milan and we are negotiating with Juventus to make the transfer of Buffon to Milan much easier. Other players that Milan might need to be able to bring the trophy to their closet again will be worked on to make their arrival to the black and red jersey possible."

He ended his talk by saying Forza Milan, Forza Maldini and he fixed his hair backwards.

Roma's Sensi commented on the situation: "If Milan want Totti, I am willing to release him on a free. It's all simple economics that people don't fathom."
