i am just wondering buffon had done grobellar acting could we have won the final it worked for dudek
it wouldn't have made a huge difference IMO; Buffon did his job and saved two pens, it was our takers who let us down :irritate:

I was watching the final in the dead of night yesterday,I must say it was probably the most emotional non-Juve match I've ever witnessed.I really wanted Milan to win this one so so badly,at the end of the first half I was delirious with joy and actually contemplated going back to sleep-how in the world was Liverpool going to avoid making bigger fools of themselves in the second half with Milan playing like that, much less stage a comeback against a 3 goal lead?

I was close to tears when Gattuso fouled for the penalty, really I was.It was unthinkable how they could be on level terms just like that; when the final whistle was blown I was still in denial over the fact that there was going to be extra time.

The first few penalties were heartstopping, but just when there seemed to be a flicker of hope Sheva stepped up.At that moment I knew he was going to miss it,for some reason. It fit the scenario perfectly.Liverpool were the heroes, beating the overconfident Italians after Milan went into the break three goals to the good.Having their talismanic Ballon D'Or winner miss the penalty under would be the final nail in the coffin.Salt into the wound.Insult to injury.

I have sworn off reading the papers or visiting any football websites for the next two weeks; seeing Gerrard lift the trophy once was painful enough.
I just realized how much I sound like a Milanista here :D

Lol

Galliani just confirmed that Carlo will stay. Some Milanistas claim that they should've substituted Sheva instead of Crespo, only Carlo didnt have the guts to do it. Silvio should stop interfering with the team.

I had the feeling from the start that liverpool will win , but after they were 0-3 , i thought well , maybe i am wrong , but after they were level in the first 15 mnts of the second half and when sheva missed those double shots , i knew liver will win in penalties , let milan feel how to loose cl in penalties like we did 2 years ago , but what makes it harder for them that they were 3-0 winners in the first half :D what idiot would loose cl final after winning 3-0 ?:D

Unbelievable! Unbelievable! game. To be honest, as much as i like Milan, i wasnt backing them in this game. Its just a culmination of many factors i guess. And personally, i dont think they deserved to be in the final, in the first place to begin with. They came through two games where they were completely dominated by PSV, and just happened to snick it, undeservedly so. I think Liverpool, by far, were the more derserving of the two teams, even considering the opposition they eliminated on the way to the final was far more impressive. Not too many teams get the better of Juve in consecutive games. To add to that, there was a Chelsea team, that has been almost clinical in thier play. So really, Liverpool came in to the final with a very well organised game.

I know everything is a lot clearer in hindsight. But last night, i was so certain Liverpool were going to win, even at 3-0 down i had a bet with someone that it was Liverpool's night. And as far as im concerned, Milan were indeed fortunate to actually be 3-0 up in the first half, because it wasnt as one sided as the scoreline suggested, not till the 40th minute atleast. Thereon in, Liverpool proved to be the better 'team', and kept steady on the job. Even after 3-3 they did not rest on their laurels, because they knew the job wasnt done yet.

The penalties were another story altogether, and I think Dudek did a great job, to affect the rythmn of the kick takers. And boy, how ironic it is, it was Shevchenko who missed the penalty this time around.

In the end, all i can say is, its hard to blame Juventus for a quarter final exit. After all, we lost to the champions.

Great game. One of the best games I have ever seen. Milan dominated Pool in the first half, and watching the way Pool played, I thought Milan could go home with the trophy with a score of 5-0. Then, these 6 minutes when Pool scored 3 goals. Great. However, the penalty was never one, but I don't give a fvck. Its Milan. They deserve this!!!!!!!!!

Still, the best about the game was, that the player, who scored the last penalty in 2003 at Old Trafford, and the player who kicked that penalty right into my heart, as this was surley the worst moment as a Juve fan, was the big looser today!!!!!!!!
Thank you sheva!
thank you dudek!

always when sheva shoots the ball he breaks hearts

in 2003 final he made the last penlaty and that look in his eyes i will never forget.

he shoot the ball and it was in the net and i was crying for ower loss in the Champions leageu final.

now he did the same , but he shoot the ball and broke all milan fans heart and his own heart.

maybe he scored the winner againts Juventus .

but sheva is 1of the best players ever !

you know it was already over when serginohio missed.
after that all the players from milan were shaky accept kaka he blasted the ball very good in the net!

that reminded me of Delpiero.
everybody talk crap about Delpiero.
but i have no doubts that in moments like taking a penalty in a shootout Delpiero is symply the best players of the world!
if delpiero was in the same place as sheva , delpiero would have blasted that ball with class in the net,and that's Delpiero!

but that day againts milan we made the wrong choses .
Trezeguet is a worldclass finisher but his penalty's are tottaly crap!
montero!come on for god ***

if we have another shootout.
than i will choose

Nedved to begin ;) GOL!
Camo the second ! GoL !
emerson the 3th GoL! SAMBA :extatic::fool:
mutu the 4th! GoL! :strong::extatic:
the winning penalty! Alessandro Delpiero and GOooooooooooooLLLLL :star::touched:

La Juventus !

Kings Of europe! :touched:

ohh yea and ofcourse gigi make some saves :strong:

and no trezeguet ore ibrahimovic to take a penalty because hw good trez is in finishing and how good ibra is in dribbeling they su ck in Calcio di rigore!

well at the start I was for milan, but then something has changed, they know now how it is to play better and lose, as it was the case in the game with PSV.
and they know how it is to lose in penalties.

I was gonna get a heart attack if it was juve insteed of milan yesterday.. this must be really terrible...
My brother told me after the first half, we should play fifa on play station as the game is decided.. but haha
