Witness the downfall of Milan, starting next season.

Milan lost the CL final because of ultimate bad luck, repeat the second half 1000 time and Liverpool will lose it each time...

Even a blind Inzaghi won't miss that unbelievable chance that Shev miss...

Beside, they lost the Scudetto because of Ancelloti stupidity, it was obvious that he was ready to sacrifice the Scudetto for the CL and the @sshole never think that he might risk losing both...

I won't call what happen "The downfall of Milan" because if things goes on ordinary manner we would be talking now about Milan chances of catching Real Madrid's record in CL and no one would mention such theorey...

I am not talking about this season being the downfall, I said watch the downfall next season.

Milan lost the CL with luck just with the same luck that they reached the final.

You said it....Ancelotti is stupid.

Milan might get to Madrid's record, but it is not Ancelotti that will get them there.

I know Jeeks you hate it when I use that term but it is the truth. I take great comfort from what the greatest player ever to have lived had to say:

Argentina legend Diego Maradona admitted he was shocked by Liverpool's comeback.

"Even the Brazil team that won the 1970 World Cup could not have staged a comeback with Milan leading 3-0," said the former Napoli star. "I am disappointed as anyone who has played in Italy would be. At 3-0 Milan were convinced that no-one could come back. "But what has happened has happened. Milan never stopped playing and [Andriy] Shevchenko could have won it in extra-time. "I have seen comebacks like that in football but never against a team that so clearly was superior as Milan were."
This is how I want to see football played with simplicity of a team that includes as many attackers and creative players in a team playing beautifully. I stand on the view that managers who believe in tactics are just egotistical men who believe their every action will win a match not the systematic methods of 11 players. Benitez is a prime example of this; starting with Kewell to utilise some unknown skill to expose some unknown weakness. Bringing on Cisse for Baros. This were all embarrassing mistakes because they are gambles and nothing more. Granted the change of the system did work but this is what I mean gamble. Anyone who credits Benitez or Gerrard for this victory are morons. The credit goes to whatever higher power decided to be a Liverpool fan from 21:45 CET.

Exactly, his CL in 2003 was pure luck and his Scudetto last year was only because he had absolutely no competition, all other teams were crap .
Actually last year Roma were the better side and they deserved the scudetto anyone saw milan last game ?!

Welsh club TNS have mentioned the possibility of playing Liverpool in a playoff for their spot in the qualifying CL rounds. They have yet to bring the matter to UEFA. it would be a big financial boost for them to play Liverpool, and Liverpool would be thrilled to get the opportunity to compete again.

I liked what Dudek did btw. I don't know if it really is cheating or not, but whenever I play in goal for penalties I do it. it helps you dive faster and it puts the shooter off. lol-and wasn't the shoot out right in front of the Milan section?

also, what a great match for the 50th CL/european cup trophy.

Could be! The 2 times we won the CL, it was the year after an Italian team lost the final :D

Ah! :D
This morning I woke up at 6:30 am, having slept less than 4 hours, I had stomach ache, a German test at school, but that didn't stop me from grinning :D
Going to school I listened to the radio. An interista sent a sms to the station saying:
A couple of years ago a milanistsa coreography in a derby said "Noi realizziamo i vostri sogni" (We make your dreams com true), they were right :D

And look what I found!

This ariticle is of April 16th
Crespo tells the press:

"Certain doubles are possible only for Milan"
"Yes, we are thinking about (winning) both Scudetto and Champions League, but we try not to talk about it"

:howler:
