I know that many of you guys will dissagrea with me now, but I was sad after Milan's loss yesterday. They was the better team.
Milan outclassed liverpool in the first half, playing extrodinary.
Milan opened the second half a little tough, and Liverpool managed to score 3 goals in 6 minutes(all credits in the world to them), but when Milan cosentraded again they where best.
In the first extra time Milan was much better than Liverpool, and also in the second extra time. When Pirlo missed his penalty I knew that Milan was going to loose:down: But Seheva's penalty should have been re-taken because Dudek isn't allowed to move a meter out of hte box!

Liverpool won, and they didn't deserve it.
But hey thats football and anything can happen.

Well they got a taste of their own medicine after what Dida did to us two years ago, he moved two meters out of the box

Milan lost the CL final because of ultimate bad luck, repeat the second half 1000 time and Liverpool will lose it each time...

Even a blind Inzaghi won't miss that unbelievable chance that Shev miss...
I'm not so sure I agree with you on this one. Milan had a little luck to go up 1-0 so early, which changed the tempo of the game and of Liverpool's gameplan completely. As for the two additional goals Milan had, they were due, in large part, to the more offensive strategy that Liverpool had adopted as a result of the game change. And Liverpool adjusted horribly to start.

The second half was more of Liverpool feeling out and getting down their adjusted strategy finally, after so horribly trying to reach it in the first half. Then it was Milan's turn to adjust, and they adjusted very poorly, IMO. I wouldn't call Liverpool's success in the second half luck as much as I felt Milan took their eye off the ball and played on their heels. And Milan has to take full blame for that. Even if you bring up the borderline penalty on Gerard by Gattuso, the fact was that Gerard had the entire Milan defensive line beat and probably should have lifted a legit goal at that point if he hadn't gone down anyway.

Milan really is to blame for a majority of their failure in this match. Referee calls (or non-enforcement of the rules, perhaps more accurately) and some Dudek miracles aside.

what an amazing match, how could ancelotti sit and watch and do nothing as 3-0 went to 3-1 no changes then 3-2, surley time to steady things up, nope he waited too long.

no way should crespo have been subbed, kaka was super in the first half but did he touch the ball in the second.

surley cafu should have been switched for a more defensive player and seedorf or kaka taken off earlier how milan missed ambrosini.

i hope and believe that liverpool should be allowed to defend the trophy next season.

benitez has done suberb and i must say hamann was super again.

i know he is 31 but so is giancheddia from lazio he too is available on a free transfer and hamanns wages are less. i think hamann would be a good signing

Enemies and Rivals... I think both categories apply to Milan in my view.
As for Revenge, it's not revenge because we didn't do it, obviously we beat them to the scudetto and we beat them on their own turf. I'm just glad that they lost to penalties the same way we lost two years ago, with Dudek illegally jumping off the line just like Dida.

So true, and everyone is saying that Milan were superior. The goal after 57 seconds does not reflect anytihng. It was a fast goal and it left Liverpool in a shock. I am sure had this goal not been scored, the game would have been a totally different game.

Concerning luck, I rely this to the law of averages and Milan has had so much luck throughout the season, especially reaching the final. The law here made a balance by giving all that luck to the opposing team. Fair and square. We can exclude luck from the discussion.

I blame Ancelotti for going in the second half so much over-confident. Afterall, he is a normal coach so what do you expect.

I like what you say and how you exclude totally the referee calls, these things happen everyday and we cannot go arguing about them.
