in his last game for the club, Smicer scored the second goal and the eventual winning PK. what a way to leave!

LOL i actually hate them too. As far as officiating you're right mistakes were made but almost every game has em. We will both agree that Milan had the chance to end the game after the Pool goals but they didnt. As far as being just I couldnt be even if i tried. the way I see it if the ref doesnt call it it's fair game. But i see where you're coming from, though a bit surprising for a Juventus fan. Milan was branded on this board more than once the Luckiest team, their luck just ran out.
Yet, I stated I don't care what happened the rest of the season, only in this match.
I'm not a fan of Milan and especially Liverpool, however I have more respect for Milan and their captain than I do for Liverpool. I just can't come around to wishing that club the best.
TBH Liverpool are not even that important on any stage to deserve anyone's attention. they won the CL so did Porto. Even worse they wont be able to defend their title. On the other hand if milan were to win we would not hear the end of it: You can have the scudetto juve, coz Milan is the best team in the world. Glad they lost, and in the way they lost too. Dropped a three goal deficit and PK's. oh man it couldnt have been sweeter if you ask me.
I don't give two shits what Milan has done this season. In this game they deserved to win but were screwed by the idiot referee at the helm. And if you think Liverpool was the better team tonight forget about it.
Sometimes you screw others over and sometimes you get screwed over, that's life.
And yes, the ref made some errors, but IMO they werent that crucial t the outcome of the match. The penalty was debatable, I personaly don't think Gerrard would have dived in a clear goalscoring oppertunity. And about the offside on L'pool's second goal... well, thats subjective as well, maybe the ref saw something the assistant didnt, or decided to play advantage. Either way, Milan shouldnt have conceded 3 goals in 6 minutes. In the end, they have noone to blame but themselves. They controlled the match, but they let Liverpool back in it, and they didnt use their chances. Simple as that.
Again, all I'm doing is pointing out the events that changed the face of the match. I am not a fan of matches that are decided by poor officiating and goals that should never have taken place. Milan lost the Final themselves yes, however there were other contributing factors that should be pointed out ie the referee's performance.
Shevckenko: "Liverpool won't win. I said at the start of the season Liverpool couldn't win the Champions League and I still don't think they will. They've got this far and given themselves a chance, but Milan will win.":LOL: he really ate his words!

OK, now I'll take issue. I would argue that many of the teams in the CL last season were so disorganized that Porto was one of the few examples of a true, cohesive team with great talent. (Last year's Milan in exception company.)
Putting last year's Porto and this year's Liverpool in the same sentence is a grave error. Porto almost won a triple last season (lost out only in the Portuguese cup final) and a huge chunk of their squad's talent ended up going to either Chelsea or CSKA for millions. I cannot say anything close to that for Liverpool this season.
I'll give U an advice Andy, as a future pilot you should not be so nervous
man, fvck pool fvck milan, take a deep breath, and relax...you didn't lose any money by betting ,at least I hope so.
That's just another final C.L. match and there is no justice in the world, but who cares for that.
Judge might be wrong, but U can't change that.

My point was neither Porto nor Liverpool nor Red Star of Belgrade are one of the greats today, they're not a Milan or a Barca whom you'd see as worthy opponents though they won a CL.
