I admit that PSV has played better than us, but the strongest won! Milan has a killer instinct this season. They are not playing a football of 2003-2004, but a balanced game. In 2003 we were the team that showed the most beautiful football in Europe, and we won winter championship in seria a, but then we lost it to you guys...and won CL.
Last season, we were playing again a very powerful football, and won scudetto, but we miserably failed to Depor.
This season we can win both of them. We are not playing for beauty, but for results!
Yes, we have a longer and quality bench than you do, but if you notice, Carletto was constatnly fielding same 8-9 men in a whole season! Plus this season there are 38 games in Seria A +CL! you have to stay competitive. Add to that that average age rate of our defence is 31-32!
Milan has played for results vs PSV! This squad is more matured than the previous one! Milan of Capello era when we did not loose a single match in seria a, we played very boring games....but we played for result. This is what happened yesterday.
Yes, it is tacktics! Milan has entered the pitch with wrong mission! to score a goal! not with a mission to play a game as they usually do! BUT WE MANAGED TO DO IT! even if we were outplayed by PSV! we had a very low possession rate and shots on goal....but look at the accuracy rate! ALMOST PERFECT!!!! THAT makes TEAM STRONGER! and it is not LUCK!!!! it is DETERMINATION! a BELIEVE that you can still MAKE it!
I did not enjoy yesterdays game Milan played...but I am pleased with a result!

You really thought that Juve played better than Liverpool?? Juve is better on paper, but Liverpool played hard and with guts, and despite the fact that DP should have had a goal, over two legs Liverpool played harder and better than Juve.
same with Liverpool-chelsea. they have a much better squad, with much more depth, but Liverpool played two smart games. even though the Garcia maybe wasn't in, 'pool deserved it. shots on goal pool 4 chelsea 1 that says it all. Liverpool's tactics were better against both Juve and Chelsea, eve though on paper, you are right, the better teams lost. but it's what happens on the pitch that matters
It is not a different point of view, it is the same point of view. It is clear what Milan are doing to win their games. The luck is how are they getting away with it. It is gambling and when it comes to gambling, it is luck. liverpool gambeld and the luck was on their side. Milan did the same and also luck was on their side. As I said earlier, with Milan it looks better because they have style and class.
I am not saying that Milan are playing a boring game but others see it so. I know that it is tactics and I admire tactics. Let me go back to 2003/2004. Milan in the group stages was definitely the best side and they were playing the most entertaining football. They even started with good football in the Serie A. But what happend later on in the season? Yes Juventus played better football with better results both in the league and in the CL.
As for yesterday's result, before the game I was wanting Milan to reach the final for 2 reasons: I want an Italian side there and I want Milan to play and compete more in both competitions. After seeing the way PSV were playing I wanted the better team to win and it was PSV on bothlegs.
