:blah:

nevermind the fact that the majority of decent Juve players aren't Italian I guess.

Dont take this the wrong way. But think about two Americans who are fans of an Italian soccer club are on a football forum rolleyeing Chelsea for having foreign players. Maybe its just me but is something not really right here?
Yes you thoroughly missed the point that time buddy.

Refer to Swag's post.

this last match against liverpool was poor.
we were too confident in the begining but then....we were very nervous and upset because the fvcking idiots didn't let us come closer to their net!!!!!!!!!!!! :fero:

and i am also FURIOUS because of zlatan!!!!!
the goal he missed.......
i mean,it was INADMISSIBLE!
even if i was there,i would have scored....
zlatan was such an idiot for losing a 100% goal, and fabio was extremelly unlucky for not scoring it....

anyway, next time we'll be more lucky and we won't be THAT confident if we face a "weaker" team again...
we underestimated them and we got punished.

They don't play in the English league?
They don't face English opposition every single week?
That english opposition doesn't give Chelsea a run for their money on many many occassions?
Winning the CL won't bring extra funds to the Premier League?
Winning the CL won't increase the prestigue of the English Premier League?
Having the champions of Europe pla within our national league again won't have a positive effect on the EPL?
Some of our England National team players winning the Champions League won't help out NT?
Winning the CL won't give a massive boost to London's Olympic bid?
An English side winning the CL won't have an effect on the kids of today?

I guess you need to think about more than meets the eye.
Yeah I answered with this. How is it not England V the rest? Any reasonably intelligent football fan should hope for a winner from the league he/she supports or the nation they come from.

Its not as irrelevent for you and swag I guess as most of the benefits of above don't count if you don't live in that country. But yeah if you disagree show me where I'm going wrong in thinking its England v the rest at this stage?

Do you realize how many people here who are big Juve supporters would love to see nothing more than Milan being eliminated by Chelsea, Liverpool, or, even better, PSV?

I don't know. I suppose if you're English and you've seen many much-lauded EPL teams struggle so poorly in the CL year after year ... if you feel like your country invented the sport and the world has long since passed you by and competitively clobbered you over the head with it year after year, CL after CL, World Cup after World Cup (not unlike cricket these days I suppose) ... then I guess maybe thinking it's "England V the rest of the world" has some meaning to you.

You still never addressed the post I made. That put it out for you in a pretty simple line list format my reasons for thinking that. Reasons which are quite simply not something you can contest in anyway shape or form.

End of discussion.

FYI, there's a vote currently going on on Soccernet.com...

The question is: do you think a Chel$ki-Milan final is inevitable. That vote is tight.

Bayern are the only decent team left there. What's going on with German football? I know there was trouble with the TV money. Are a whole lot of teams in financial trouble?
Who the hell knows. Is there anyone outside Germany who ever bothered to take a look at the situation anyway? Let's face it, nobody in Europe cares :D

Sounds like Italy to me, the same thing happened in Serie A. England as well, when ITV Digital calapsed it killed off alot of England "lower" division clubs.
