Before all the talk about Capello you have to consider the opposition. The fact is liverpool are weak. Forget the 1st match, Juve were poor and Capello can be blamed but i don't think Liverpool were good. Like Chelsea last night it was long-balls and opportunist play something Ancelotti realised when playing Man Utd.
In EPL Liverpool are a poor side look at their away statistics:
Away record P15:W4-D4-L7 F:19 A:20 GD:-1 PTS:16 League Rank:11
Tottenham 1 1 Liverpool
Bolton 1 0 Liverpool
Man Utd 2 1 Liverpool
Chelsea 1 0 Liverpool
Fulham 2 4 Liverpool
Blackburn 2 2 Liverpool
Middlesbrough 2 0 Liverpool
Aston Villa 1 1 Liverpool
Everton 1 0 Liverpool
West Brom 0 5 Liverpool
Norwich 1 2 Liverpool
Southampton 2 0 Liverpool
Charlton 1 2 Liverpool
Birmingham 2 0 Liverpool
Newcastle 1 0 Liverpool
If Liverpool had Cisse, Morientes, Kewell, Alonso all fit then it could be a close match-up. But the reality is they have Carragher, Hyypia and Troare in defence with a very dodgy GK. I'm sure at the Del Alpi Juve's offence will penetrate them. I don't think we even need to talk about personnel combinations and strategies. The class difference is just too big.
