Before all the talk about Capello you have to consider the opposition. The fact is liverpool are weak. Forget the 1st match, Juve were poor and Capello can be blamed but i don't think Liverpool were good. Like Chelsea last night it was long-balls and opportunist play something Ancelotti realised when playing Man Utd.

In EPL Liverpool are a poor side look at their away statistics:
Away record P15:W4-D4-L7 F:19 A:20 GD:-1 PTS:16 League Rank:11

Tottenham 1 1 Liverpool
Bolton 1 0 Liverpool
Man Utd 2 1 Liverpool
Chelsea 1 0 Liverpool
Fulham 2 4 Liverpool
Blackburn 2 2 Liverpool
Middlesbrough 2 0 Liverpool
Aston Villa 1 1 Liverpool
Everton 1 0 Liverpool
West Brom 0 5 Liverpool
Norwich 1 2 Liverpool
Southampton 2 0 Liverpool
Charlton 1 2 Liverpool
Birmingham 2 0 Liverpool
Newcastle 1 0 Liverpool

If Liverpool had Cisse, Morientes, Kewell, Alonso all fit then it could be a close match-up. But the reality is they have Carragher, Hyypia and Troare in defence with a very dodgy GK. I'm sure at the Del Alpi Juve's offence will penetrate them. I don't think we even need to talk about personnel combinations and strategies. The class difference is just too big.
caragher has been the second best centre half this year, only terry imo has been playing in beter form.

Jamie has been a typical bullish english defender at its best....hard as nail brave and comitted.

anyway, did u guys see the plonkin bayern got at the hands of Chel$ki last night? what i observed was that the giant ref simply couldn't wait to dish out cards to the team in blue, then gave out a really dubious penalty to bayern in the dying minutes of the second half. pound of flesh from the refs eh? hehehe!!!

Was it good in the first game against Madrid? Was it good in the first game against Pool?

Was it good against several teams in the Calcio, so he can make wrong decisions, let us not be so sure we are gonna go past Liverpool

but can u give me a percentage here

My word, Padovano sounds like an Arsenal fan!!!
Perhaps, but I don't know about the English football culture. I can assure you though that in Italy Juve are blamed for everything.

Last season, the owner of Perugia (Luciano Gaucci) was furious with the referee after losing to Lazio. He was screaming about a PK and a Red Card that changed cost Perugia the match. The guy being so accustomed to blaming Juve actually said that the ref "gave a non-existant penalty to Juventus". Too bad he was playing against Lazio, but nobody even caught that.

Events of this week were totally logical.

Lyon- after neting 10 goals to Bremen I was kinda surprised to see a 1-1 against PSV.

Juve- an away goal, I think we're in a good shape for the second leg.

Milan- well, for the second time this season Inter looses (I think). That pair is done.

Bayern- I think they did pretty good given without key strikers. Chances might be slim to none, but I hope they can bypass Chelski. And we already beat Bayern twice this year.

ESPN2 has shown TWO games last matchday!!! What a pleasant surprise! Keep it up.

Well, Padovano, in England, Arsenal get blamed for everything from the lack of English players to indiscipline. The press especially are always quick to jump on Arsenal's back. So, eventually, we Arsenal fans made a decision: Sod them all.

Anyway, Man Utd fans like to think that their's is the only club capable of bringing people together for the sole reason that they hate Man Utd. Arsenal however, have the distinct ability to bring all the lousy press hacks at Fleet Street together with the common goal of casting mud on any Arsenal achievement they can with all kinds of snide remarks like: "Well, they play great football, but they will never be a truly great team until they win the Champions League."...or similar rubbish. It took Ferguson 13 years to win the Champions League, being the first English team to do so in 20 years!!! They expect Arsenal to do so in so short a time. Give us a effin break.:fero:
