No, I love Man Utd and Roma...I LIKE other clubs there is a difference, I dont support them, I'd just like them to win that is all, you know everyone has a team in a country they'd like to win, regardless of if they even care about them, example I want Barca to win La Liga, why? Is it bec ause I like them? No, mainly because I hate the rest of the teams more...simple?

Oh, and the best young non-known Nigeria player is probably Akanda, captain of the AS Roma primerva (sp?) squad!
Primavera is the correct spelling AFAIK.

you're so biased Chxta, just to compare Nigeria to England is plain stupid,in terms of youngsters the only player you guys have that deserves mentioning is Martins and he's not even as good as Rooney, why?cuz Rooney has more goals in the CL,Rooney proved himself in the Euro's,and he was arguably one of the best players at that competition.

Nicole mentioned Atanda in Roma fred weasley, I can add Ayila Yusuf who scored against Madrid in the Champions League for Dynamo Kiev. He just got his first call up to face Gabon in a World Cup qualifier in match.

By the way fred weasley, this is the last time I'll reply any post of yours since we can't talk like grown ups without resorting to name calling.

If you hav nothing to say, please do not insult me.

this is sad, you cant compare these players for many reasons, the biggest one being that a player in Nigeria for example could look World Class in Nigeria and look crap in EPL, and a player from the same 'example' could also be better, you dont know how a player will re-act to that step up, sometimes nothing happens, sometimes they step up and become a better player because of the challenge.

Example: Frank Lampard...

3 years ago, most people wouldnt rate him in the top 50 of midfields, thats why when Abramovich came there was so much spectulation he was going to be sold, now he is arguable there best player, he stepped up to the challenge.

Example: Paul Scholes...

Out of all of the Class of '92, Scholes (besides Becks) looked the most unlikely to make it in the first team, but he stepped up and became one of England's greatest ever players (IMHO)

Biased is not name calling.

Stupid is...

And it is becoming a very sad thing on this forum that we can no longer just talk without adding the occassional insult. Aa habit started by kaka22.

There is also Virga at Roma, but he is less likely to break through. But Atanda, has a great chance, at youth level he is a very good midfield, and has something you cant teach, leadership.

chxta, who was the Mali teenager (I think it was Mali) who was very good for them, he was there best player, excluding Kanoute...he looked very good. at the African Cup of Nations...

I'd have to agree with chxta, whilst I think that 95% of the best players in the world are in Europe? But there are so who arent, however most tend to end up in Europe....

Why lazy? I am quite impressed with Nicole...

She has made the point that made the most sense since we all started arguing. A player could be excellent on the one stage, and a flop on the next.

Examples...

Beckham at Madrid
Riquelme at Barca....

there's more...
