I'll give you okocha but apart from that the current squads cant even be compared when it comes to talent. English would rip Nig a new asshole every day of the week.

And okocha isnt going to be around for much longer ;) Well he will for the nigerian team of course, he could make that squad when hes 55.

The only English team that has a chance of winning the Champions League this year is Chelsea, and they have a good one at that. I really do not think Milan will lose out to Manure at the San Siro, and even if the Rossoneri were travelling back to Old Trafford they would still probably progress because they are the best team in the world, no question.

Arsenal has a tough go of it but their away goal in Munich might give them some hope. But if Bayern score an away goal in Highbury I think that's it for the Gunners, as the Bavarians are just too solid of a team. They should have won 4-0 in Munich if it was not for their silly errors.

Liverpool looked good against a horrid Leverkusen side, so thats not saying much. Which ever team qualifies for the quarterfinals will lose to whoever they meet because neither team looks any good. Right now I would chose Liverpool to progress, but anything can happen.

But Chelsea is right up there to win the competition. If they can get past Barca then they stand a good chance of making the Finals, unless they meet Milan in the next round. Chelsea has the defense to go far and is very efficient in attack, unlike Barca who is dodgy at the back and not very efficient. Everything was okay for Chelsea until Drogba was sent off, and that mistake might have cost them dearly. I sure hope it did.

Well I don't know about that, as an on-form Okocha could rip apart England all by himself, but of course England has the better display on paper.

U have nothing to say Blandie!
Didnt I just say it?

If you realistically think overall you can compare England national team to Nigeria then thats your misjudgement.

Okotcha is a fantastic player, Nigeria have had a few good players. But they are worthless team when compared to England.

And you wonder why you get so many insults.

Yes, an on-form Okocha gave Bolton some wins all by himself. You cannot deny the skill he has. And yes, Okocha is a lot more talented than any player you have. Just a few moments of magic from Okocha could change the scoreline of any match.

Enyeama is better than any England keeper.... So is Ejide. For crying out loud, the last African Champion's League Final match featured 2 Nigerian keepers, Enyeama and Ejide.

Willy Opara has been the best keeper in the PSL for years running.

In attack, you can't compare Wayne Rooney to Obafemi Martins, no chance. Or are Jermain Defoe or Michael Owen better than Peter Odemwingie? Give me a break.

I concede left back, to the English, Ashley Cole is better than Babayaro simply because that bugger is way too lazy, but watch for Taiye Taiwo of Marseille in a year.

At right back, please there's no way in heaven, earth or hell that Gary Neville's better than Obinna Nwaneri. Take your football further affield than Europe and try get clips of the African Champion's League.

In central, I give it to Rio, yes, he is better than Yobo, and a Rio-Terry (not Campbell) is better than Yobo-Enakhire, (Orjinta is still too raw).

As a playmaker, gimme a break, how can u say Lampard's better than Okocha? Age is on Lampard side true, but the ability to single handedly take a game by the neck, Okocha has more in abundance than Lampard can dream of (ask Keane!)

For the defensive midfield, who plays that for England nowadays? Gerrard? OK, he's good, but IMO Obodo's better (still a bit inexperienced), and that's why Juve are looking at him.

And please don't even put Beckham and Utaka in the same group. They aren't from the same planet.

England doesn't even have a left sided attacking midfielder....

Erm, find the match between Nigeria and Ireland, friendly international at the valley last year, watch it and analyse it before you caome and start shooting your mouth talking a lot of rubbish.

I watched it, have you made the mistake of thinking Ireland are as good as England?

I disagree with most points youve made. Your keepers perhaps, but last years CL final was a joke. Robinson is as good as either imo.

Ill also give you Martins. Hes better than any attacker we have. Apart from that though, any other player your side suck.

And exactly African Champions League :howler:

Ireland are not far off being better then england though. Damien Duff is easily better then anyone on the midfield. (excluding Lampard, which i would say is about as good) We have the better keeper in given, John Oshea is becoming fantastic.Andy Reid has massive potential. Robbie keane goal scoring record for ireland is pretty decent so far too. And of course with Roy Keane in the center of the field Ireland can pretty much match up to England.

Ireland are better than England IMO. Just less fortunate.

Of course you will disagree on my points, you are semi literate.

African Champion's League is the CAF equivalent of the UCL. Less quality I agree, but then that is because the money's in Europe!

No they arent better. If they are how come they havent done anything recently? Many people here seem to forget what a TEAM is. Putting out names like Keane, Duff and O'Shea does not make Ireland better than England. Englands squad is much stronger and much more successful.

Of course you will disagree on my points, you are semi literate.
Im semi literate? What about you:howler:

Yes I know its the equivalent. And its just because it sucks. Dont even FOR A SECOND. Compare African Champs league to Europes. Just dont do it please. The football played in that competition is along the same lines of English 1/2 division.

I really do not get you sometimes Blandest. I answered your question, saying that Okocha led Bolton to victories all by himself, and if an ON-FORM Okocha played against England he could make a few brilliant pieces of skill with the ball and win the match against England. Of course this is not set in stone. Brilliant players like Okocha have the skill to turn matches around with one touch of the ball. Hell, I'm sure a on-form Okocha on his day could rip apart Italy on a bad day for the Azzurri.

That is all that I was saying Blandest. I even said that England has the better players on paper, but football is not played on paper.

Like I said before, learn how to read before responding to my posts.
