Andy if your predictions were for an already qualified Barcelona that rested important players then you were right.
So what? That was not my prediction. Barca played pretty much a full strength defense, and attacked as they usually do, but still lost. My prediction of ill-fated tactics came true, and will come true again.

-Barcelona has been exposed once again by the unbalanced style they play (as I predicted).
Stop flip flopping

How they attacked as they usually do if they rested Etoo and Deco?

m not trying to defend Barcelona here, but I dont think we should judge them for their performance today considering the fact that they were already qualified and they didnt have to WIN this game.

Well, Match Day 6 is under way. Arsenal has a fairly young squad out there against Rosenborg tonight, and the latter has nothing to play for. Hopefully a great match is in store for us tonight (Gunners loss).

-Arsenal waltz to the second round by the skin of their teeth. Though, they really do not deserve to qualify and would not if they were in any other group.
its obvious to me that u hate Arsenal ,, and that is ur own business but saying that they don't desrve it !! u r going too far .

they sure do desrve it , i saw most of thier matches , they really had bad luck not winning againest pathanikos away and home . the only game that they were not that good is againest rosenberg in norway , they didn't loose any game , they drawed Psv in holland with 9 players , they desrve it more than many teams who faced easier groups like man u , lyon and porto

That is not very surprising. Rijkaard rested his top three attacking players, and did not seem to care that much about the result. This demeanor, plus the recklesness of excessive attacking while playing an away game, the result of 2-0 to Shaktar does not seem that surprising. But a result like this does not live up to the "Best team in the world" brandishing they always receive.
well, that's what i ma atlking about.
barca has a certain image...
they CAN'T let shakhtar beat them...

Roma needs to win if they want any measure of respect, so I expect them to fight very hard! and I would much rather Roma win than Real

actually,me too.
and all of us i think prefer a roma win.

but,if roma wins, who will qualify second in the group?
cause that's all i care about

good point-I hadn't thought about that...I think that Leverkusen would be guarranteed second place because they beat Real once and tied them once, so they have the tie breaker advantage

They played like shite until the final match against Rosenborg. If they were in any other group, barring the final group with Chelsea and Porto, and they might not have advanced. I really do not think much of teams such as Panathinaikos, PSV, and Rosenborg for that matter, and for the supposed "class" Arsenal has they should have done much better against those sides, especially Panathinaikos. Arsenal were "lucky" they played in Group E, the easiest one of the lot.

They had the same tactics as they usually do Fabi, that is my whole point that you missed. Tactics are different from the lineup of players on the pitch. They still used a full strength defense, mind you.

Teams do not go out on the pitch to lose, they go to win. My prediction was Barca would be caught out with the tactics they use, and by losing my prediction was right. My prediction for the future is that this will happen again.

Teams shouldnt go out on the pitch to lose, but the reality is different. That wasnt the point anyway

Lets see if Barca's tactics with all their players will get them far in Europe. And stop predicting that much stuff Miss Cleo
