I was stunned when they sacked Del Bosque.and the reason they gave was that 'He didnt win the CL',and to add to the wounds,it was on the day Real won the league.

He is probably the one person who can make Real rise again.
I was stunned as well when Real's management decided to sack him for that laughable reason. How ironic they suffered since Del Bosque's era, that they haven't won one single trophy up till now.

Another point here, I agree that Del Bosque still has a lot to give to the club. Since, clubs like Real Madrid are in need of people who love them to serve them, not people who search for more money and for their personal glory.

Sacchi slams Don Fabio failure

Arrigo Sacchi has bitterly criticised Real Madrid boss Fabio Capello, claiming his football is “based entirely on taking advantage of others’ mistakes.”

The two former Milan Coaches have always had a very different philosophy of the game and Capello’s time at the Bernabeu seems to be at an end after the Champions League exit.

“Capello is a great tactician, but people do not love him because his football is lacking poetry and harmony,” the veteran told ‘As’.

“His teams are based above all on the counter-attack and taking advantage of others’ mistakes. In that sense, I really don’t think he is the ideal Coach for Real Madrid.”

Deeply unpopular with players and fans alike, Don Fabio’s return to La Liga – where he won the 1998 title – has been a disappointment.

“It will be very difficult to see him here again next season. However, if at the end of the day he wins the Championship, then many will change their minds,” added Sacchi.

“It is entirely possible he still can take the title. After all, if Real can be only five points off the leaders despite losing seven times already, then this is a mediocre tournament.”

Many of his pupils at Il Grande Milan have gone on to become Coaches in their own right, including Carlo Ancelotti, Marco Van Basten and Barcelona’s Frank Rijkaard.

“Frank was a great midfielder and, above all, proved to be a wonderful person. He was intelligent as a player, so it was predictable he would have success as a tactician.”

Was this how Juve was winning last season?

Capello won the Liga in 98?

I want Sevilla to win it just to prove you don't need a team of big stars, and grumpy coaches to win the league.
Its already been proven. Deportivo won the Liga a few seasons back. The current Sevilla team is better than the Deportivo team who won the league, but in the end Barcelona will win the league in my opinion. Valencia are too Villa dependent, and will choke when he's not available. That leaves us with Real - they simply suck because of Capello.

Sevilla might win the league still, Sevilla has been up there for a few weeks now with Barca struggling to catch them.

Capello has endured a disappointing second spell at the Bernabeu and over the weekend, Real president Ramon Calderon hinted that the Italian would not be in charge next term.

Getafe boss Schuster, who is a one of a number of candidates linked with the Real post, feels the former Juventus chief's style could be responsible for his downfall.

"It is practically certain that he is not going to be the trainer of Real Madrid next season,"
Schuster told German television station DSF.

"Capello only wants to win - it does not matter how - and with that philosophy he will not prevail in Real Madrid."

Calderon also confirmed that Schuster is on his list of potential replacements for Capello, although the former Real midfielder insists no talks have taken place.

Schuster added: "I have not had any direct contact with the president of Madrid.

"I only know that I am on the list of candidates to succeed Fabio Capello."

Barcelona is ready to land Chelsea winger Arjen Robben in a cut-price £4 million deal, according to reports in Spain.

Tough Spanish international and Valencia defensive midfielder David Albelda is high on Barcelona's priority list

A top quality defensive midfielder is emerging as Barcelona's top summer priority. David Albelda's name has been mentioned more than a few times, but Barcelona is also looking at a few others including Sevilla's Christian Poulsen and Zaragoza's Zapater.

Barcelona technical director Txiki Begiristain has responded to Javier Saviola's show of impatience by insisting that the club will be making him an offer soon.
