Mate, you have set the time to 18h00, 6PM cet.
The first match starts at 8h45 PM so if you change the accept bets until date with two hours and 30 minutes longer, then they can bet up until 15 minutes before it starts since we can't set times with 15 minutes.

so if I get this correct, you live in the same time zone as me.
    almost 19h00 now.
I changed the event now to 7h30 PM which gives 20h30 CET when the events is displayed

its 8 here at the moment
Ah, one hour later then here.
Take a look at the event (with the edit button) and see how late the event starts for you now, in your time.

Now also setup an event from the Bundesliga or the Ligue 1, they have the same time zone as we in Belgium, then it is easier for me to check the differences between us two.

i just checked chester and the game starts at 7:30pm casablanca, london, lisbona time zone (edit mode) and now it says 23:00 i,e accepts bets till 23:00. is that the right setting?? the time that appears int he even i,e the bets taken until xxxx hours is that time my local time or what??? bec if it is then 23 is 11:00 pm here which would be after the games are over.

i will do the french league now and hopefully the time settings are not as tricky as with this one.

The time setting for this event for me now is that the event accepts bets until 20h30 CET and the games start at 20h45 CET so now, it is correct for this event.
I guess this means that in England, the games start at 7h45 PM GMT and the event closes at 7h30 PM GMT.
