Capello would be just brilliant. England will qualify alright. But once in there, the English fans will want him sent up a flagpole for his ultra-conservative tactics, his minimum effort to meet and never exceed expectations, and lots of lackluster crash outs by the quarterfinals.

2-3 years tops before England figures this out after giving him a second change to prove himself incapable of excellence beyond the basics.

and his embaressments in europe talking cl football here in the past few years were a success story too? so because he can win la liga and serie A titles thats the same as playing international teams with different style of play? no if capello cant even cut it in cl football anymore then he cant cut it coaching international football.
Lippi own one CL in his career.
Caplleo own one CL in his career.

Judging by your logic I see no reason why the 1st will succeed while the other will sucks.

so basically sven goran all over again

i think it would be nice to see mourinho take this punks to glory:
-england will actually be interesting to watch on major competitions
-english people will shut up about being the gods of football when a foreigner takes them to glory

so i see it as a win/win

i did say in recent years capello has shown his inability to apply his tactics and style successfully in cl football in recent years, due to his stubborness to adapt to the changes in football, and because of crapello's inability to do so, he is a waiting disaster for england, and i cannot wait to see it happen.

as for lippi he has always adapted where ever he's been. thats the difference

unfortunatly for u mourinho is more interested in working in a day to day environment, i.e club football.

You can't compare Capello to Lippi when It comes to Europe. How many times Lippi reached the final? How many times Lippi reached Semi?? And If I still re-call Lippi wasn't having a full squad the same Capello was having.

Capello won 1 Champions League thats right, but even Steaua Bucuresti won one Champions league and still Steaua's coach can't be compared to Lippi when it comes to Champions League.

I still don't remember when was the last time Capello took a team into quarter finals, the game against Bremen we had was the weirdest game I've seen. Bremen deserved to qualify and I don't call that an achievment.

Against EPL sides we got owned, 6times we played the English teams in CL under capello we never won one single game.

I admit he knows how to bring a title(La liga, Serie A) but he's still too far to become like someone called Marcello Lippi, IMHO.

Still, calling what he achieve during the past three years a failure is soooooooo biased.

He was a total failure at Inter though.

I do agree... I have only used this example to show weakness of _Badass logic.
