Last year RVP was the best player in the PL hands down. I'm number one fan of Aguero and even i can't say he's better right now, definetely will be tough. IMO Rooney is better than Tevez.

Agree with ALC here, Man U have the best attack right now ( names wise) I expect Rooney and RVP to work together very well and complement each nicely. Man U are a couple of MF away from having the 3rd best team in the world and be a serious challenger for CL, even now i expect them to go far in that competition.
Seriously, what has Aguero done to be better than RvP? Some people in here.

Arsenal are run in the wrong way from top to bottom.

All about making money instead of winning things.

Wenger suits that as he's a stubborn idiot who won't accept football has moved on financially in the last 15 years and the Board take advantage of that situation by cashing in on good players year after year.

With the Emirates they also managed to bring in a bunch of soft fans who will be happy to keep paying a fortune to see Arsenal play some quite pretty football, but never threaten to win anything.

No danger of them rioting.

Can't see anything changing until Arsenal miss out on the CL, and even then they'll probably have to miss it for a couple of years in a row.
Agreed on all counts.

Sorry but for me, both Agüero and Tevez are better than Rooney.

Last season's Van Persie was better but I don't expect him to replicate that sort of form again.

Balotelli and co shit all over berbatov (he rocks but he doesn't get any games), chicharito (fuck him) and fresh prince.

Silva is also one of the best players in EPL if you want to regard him as a forward.

Needless to say, City have the better GK, defense and midfield.

Aguero is miles better than Van Persie and Tevez is better than Rooney.

Dzeko, Balotelli are better than little penis and Welbeck also.

Silva is better than Kagawa also.

Kagawa is awesome, I don't think he's far behind Silva.
:wth: :howler: :sergio: Why don't we have a WTF emoticon as well? :D

Fuck Rooney. RVP was immense last season, but I doubt he can or will need to recreate that type of form with United, as there are other players he can share the load with.

Aguero, Tevez, and Balotelli are better as a trio than Van Rapist, Pig Face, and Baby Jalapeno in my book. Aguero and Tevez are better than Rooney from an individual standpoint. RVP is currently the best of that bunch, but he needs to cement his status this season.

Also, you wouldn't think Tevez is one year younger than RVP but he is. He's also built like a bull and very rarely he gets worrisome injuries.

RVP has been an eternal promise/ talent until last season when he (finally) fulfilled his potential and I think it might be too little too late to cement himself as a great. With his injury record and fitness issues he might have 2-3 seasons more at max.

For how many seasons did he sign?

Have you watched Kagawa??

He's going to be the next big star in England.

Southampton who got dicked 4-0 by Udinese last week.

---------- Post added 17.08.2012 at 09:49 ----------

Ramirez told Corriere Dello Sport: "They believe in me in every way... and above all I have said that they are going to grow. Southampton is a newly promoted team in the English top flight, but they have the means to stand tall in a few years. And with me they are going to build. It's all very stimulating. Even if it is a little strange."

The 21-year-old scored eight goals in 28 apperances in Serie A last season and revealed that he was offered a deal that was too hard to refuse.

"The truth? I think so, yes, this time," he said when asked if he was about to leave. "Bologna have reached an economic agreement with Southampton. There are only a few details to sort out, but they have found the agreement in principle, and the English club have reached an agreement with me.

"It is an offer that you cannot refuse. They will give me so much money (€2 million net per year and more than €1 million signing-on fee)."
And we thought you were going there for the lure of Southampton and playing at St. Mary's.

Really, what an underwhelming move from him.

Where do Southampton get that kind of money from?
The English clubs are rich and when I said that Tottenham might get Llorente it means they can afford paying more than we do for his club and offer him higher wages regardless what Nicholas says.

They were in financial shit a few years ago but a guy called Markus Liebherr and his family corporation bought them out in 2009. Liebherr actually died of a heart attack in 2010 but the family continues to fund the club. They are worth billions.

In Llorente's case true. But for how long have Tottenham chased a striker and failed to sign the player? :D

But this is Southampton, they didnt even play in the Prem last year. No club in Serie A has spended 15M so far. The record this season is Handanovic for ~13M atm.
