I saw ,he's being linked with Pool lately..Quality young player ,would be a great addition to your midfield imo..German version of Wilshere sort of...But i read somewhere that he is an Everton fan :shifty:
His dad is from Liverpool, so that's not surprising. We've had and still have childhood Blues (Carra) in the squad.

What about Mickey Owen to Everton?
Probably a good place for him. Was my favorite player when I was 14.

Most people from Liverpool are Everton fans anyway !

Even Gerrard lies about his childhood loyalties !

Fowler, McManaman, Rush, McMahon, Carragher, Warnock etc.

Same other way round, Baines, Osman, and even Peter Reid all reds !!

Owen can do one, we are better than that, rather give a youth player a chance !

Owen's had a strange career. He burned out at around 24. You can't blame it all on injuries. Look at Del Piero and Ronaldo.

Del Piero's whole game was not built on Pace. Owen's was !

Problem with Owen is that he only had pace and finishing. If he hasn't got the speed to get himself into the scoring positions of old he is finished at that top level. He'll still put the ball in the net if you give him the chance, but he had less chances. Del Piero and Ronaldo had far superior ability to create themselves chances from nothing, even when they slowed down.
