I thought it was real and told my madrid fan bro, he was super pissed with ze deal, relieved its fake, but me thinks they will sell him anyways if they buy Modric.
The problem with Ferdinand is that he tries very hard to be an upstanding individual and voice of everything, but he's simply too thick to actually pull it off.
Oh had the funniest fucking conversation with my Arsenal loving (future) bro in law tonight
He was trying to convince me that Arsenal have the best youth set up and scouting system in the world, that Arsene Wenger is still one of the best managers in the world, and said that there is no shame in Arsenal not winning anything in the past 7 years because of the Chelseas and Man City's killing the market. Then he tried to peddle off the old "bla bla we play the best football bla bla bla"...FFS the most deluded fuckwits on the planet.

You know these realities that stick around even after they stop being the case anymore.
Exactly, Arsenal hasn't been playing such an attractive brand of football for years now, that is just something that was true for a period of time and stuck.
I'd be very pleased with Dempsey - I see him as an upgrade on Maxi. Not seen that much of Allen but he looks a talented player and clearly fits into the system that Rodgers wants so no real qualms about that, either.
Really hope the Ramirez stuff was more than just a rumour as he'd be a cracking signing.
To be honest, I'm most excited about a few of the youngsters - particularly Suso, Sterling and Robinson - potentially getting a chance.

Rio Ferdinand yesterday insisted it was not racist to call his England teammate Ashley Cole a 'choc ice’.
The Manchester United star reignited the John Terry race row after apparently endorsing the term, which it is commonly understood to mean 'black on the outside, white on the inside’.
The controversy started when someone sent Ferdinand a tweet about Cole’s involvement in the Terry trial. The person wrote: 'Looks like Ashley Cole’s going to be their choc ice. Then again he’s always been a sell-out. Shame on him.’
Ferdinand responded: 'I hear you fella! Choc ice is classic. Hahahahahahhha!!’
But as the online backlash continued Ferdinand tweeted to his three million followers: 'What I said yesterday is not a racist term. Its (sic) a type of slang/term used by many for someone who is being fake. So there.’
