If we don't win I hope Man U wins it, and Van Persie gets an CL MVP as a bonus. He's a really good inteligent player, that deserves trophies, it was a good choice picking a team that has a chance to win something.

I hope he scores a hattrick against you guys and then reveals a shirt with "no carramelo for you" written on it.

It's entierly possibly considering how good he is, plus now the quality of football he has to play with is considerably bigger then it was, so it's obvious he is more dangerous then he used to be last season and seasons before. Not to mention playing for a big club with such traditions might inspire him to do even better then he was used to.

Ya especially due to the fact that he's been in a team that has beaten Juve before, i'm sure he wouldn't have a problem in beating them again, now that he's in a club that is bigger than them and has more European pedigree, don't you agree?

I would say he is finaly in a team big and worthy enough of Juve's challenge.

City offered more than United, so it was obvious money was not the main factor that was motivating him ;)
i doubt that , in city there are tons of wc forwards , he would have gotten the money , but wouldn't have played always . At united he got a tad less , but a starter position in all matches more or less . In juve he would have had the same starter position , but half the salary , pratically 5 mil euro less .

And not only that, we were never going to pay £24M for him either.

If we offered him the same wages as Man U and our club miraculously found the money to fund his wages and the transfer, I honestly think he would have seriously considered joining us.
