That's be fantastic for them, but age is catching up with him.
Doesn't need to play every game. Just ones where a bit of steal is needed.

On another note, Liverpool need a real central midfielder.

Yeah.. would be a decent enough cover, and a decent source of goals. Frimpong can be that man in the future.

Nah, just stick with Charlie Adam, he'll get you back to the Champions league.

I actually don't have a problem with Charlie Adam, when he's not on the field.:D

But it's not like Henderson or Spearing are any better. ;)

Baahhh, look who's talking about midfields, our midfield is as bad as yours. :sigh:
To be fair Spearing is Lucas' back up, so he does his job as well as you would expect. Would be so nice to have Lucas back.

He's decent, nothing more. Meireles should have never been sold, he was absolutely brilliant with you last season. I rate Jonjo Shelvey higher than Spearing.

Pfft, the only EPL team with a good midfield is City anyways.
Wrong. Arsenal have a good midfield with Song (Class act) Wilshere and Arteta. and Rosický and Ramsey ain't bad.
Spurs got Modrić and Van Der Vaart, one of the finest midfielders in the league. Sandro and Parker are also very good.
And it's not like you got a bad midfield either. Ramires, Romeu, Essien and Meireles are great.

Probably, but I don't think Podolski is that much of an improvement especially on the long term. And Wenger would probably end up playing him in a wrong position, like he's done with Arshavin.
I think Arsenal signing Podolski are trying to make a statement that they are looking to improve and willing to spent money and sign big names.

Not sure about Gibbs, he seems to be decent, but too injury prone. I'm yet to be impressed with him. I remember Nani and most of our wingers tearing him to shreds every time we play Arsenal.
I actually think that Podolski would be a welcome addition to the squad as long as he isn't being brought as a replacement for RVP. I'm not convinced with our wing options, neither Theo or Gervinho are anywhere near consistent enough, Theo is asking for a huge salary that the club is reluctant to pay him btw, so there is also the chance that Theo might be sold next summer. It also means that Arshavin will definitely not be coming back, so all in all i think he's an upgrade over our wing positions, therefore a good signing. He can score goals, he's got a lot of technique in that left foot of his.

As for Gibbs, he has never really convinced me to be honest, defensively he is very poor, his positioning is just too awkward, and is susceptible to balls being played behind him. I want to see how well Santos does when he comes back from injury, but i doubt Wenger will go for any left back this summer.
