Al Habsi is fantastic. 3 penalty saves out of 4

Close shave in our game. Villa gave us a tough ride, but we scored the second goal in the dying minutes of the game. Sweet corner by RVP

Decent game of football in this first half between Spuds and the Russians. Players are falling like flies though, both Mikel and Ivanovic were forced out of the game with injuries. Chelsea joins Arsenal and United with a ridiculous amount of injuries.

A draw in this game would be ideal. Hope it stays this way.

Btw, that was poor pussy goalkeeping by Cech for the Adebayor goal.

Also extremely poor defending by both fullbacks for Sturridge's goal.

so AVB prefers Bosingwa at CB over Alex and Luiz or are they injured as well?

That was at least a tactical good game. Both coaches outdid each other.
Thats the same old washed up argument Serie A fans always use for boring games.

It was a case of two coaches playing cautious football and not wanting to take any risks. Why some people love to equate "tactical football" with "cautious defensive football" like their synonymous is beyond me to be honest.

The thing is, Serie-A is far more tactical than every other league. That's the truth, not an excuse.

There's plenty of boring matches, but not every match tactical good.
