I actually didn't have a problem with the general refereeing of Stoke-Chelsea. Chelsea should have had two penalties, though.

The general decisions of the ref in West Brom-Man Utd were worse in my book - the guy didn't have a clue what was worth a booking and what wasn't.

Missed the booking (was half asleep, game was 7:30 in the morning) I do think we should've had at least 1 penalty (I think that Lampard dived) and I missed Utd's game so I can't comment on that.

Teams like stoke annoy the hell out of me when we play em, but you they have to work with what they have (and they surely do it pretty damn well).

I didn't think Lampard dived.

He didn't fall convincingly, but the Stoke player put his leg across and Lampard ran into it.

I thought it was a definite penalty.

It could've been given as contact was made and he was clear on goal, but it serves Frank well for overacting.

On another matter. We looked stale out there, we really need another winger, a right one if any (can't stand Kalou). And a creative player in midfield. With the current team I don't see us challenging for anything, other than 2nd spot.

Anelka came quite good in the 2nd half and I was also quite pleased with the fact that Torres looked like an actual football player out there. Must be the hair growing back.

He hasn't really played much with us as the focal point of the attack, other than the odd game where he replaces Drogba. But he's been mainly used as some kind of SS in our 4-3-3. Not hugging the touchline but coming inside the box.

Not sure how he was used at Bolton.

Yup, i liked him very much at Bolton last season. He did very well with Elmander and K.Davies. Got a good left foot, and can dribble and link up too. Useful player to have and is definitely an upgrade over the extremely limited Kalou imo.

Chelsea are in desperate need of a RW/LW depending on how good Sturridge will be. Malouda just pisses me off, used to be really good but he has lost it of late. They also need Modric in the middle.
