I read a bit of Joey Barton's twitter lately and he seems to be a moron in nearly all of his comments. Rooney on his high horse about Real Madrid Pepe and Suárez is hilarious, given how many players he's kicked or stamped on. Gerrard and Terry as well.

Barton gets plenty of shit from all over the media. The others less so (why is Parker even in your list?), but they've all had criticism from time to time. Smith, Butt and Nolan are feisty players but are/were only really known for dirty tackles and scuffles, likewise for players like Cattermole.

There isn't anyone quite like Balotelli, let's be obvious. He drew plenty of negative attention in Italy and will anywhere he goes. Suarez the highly talented, racist, cheating, cannibal is probably going to get a few column inches as well.

The Tottenham boss had denied accepting secret untaxed bonus payments from former Portsmouth chairman Milan Mandaric, while he was club manager.

Mr Mandaric was also cleared of two charges of cheating the public revenue over the £189,000 payments.

Mr Redknapp, who was close to tears, said the case "should never have come to court".
