Lol

I was 17 when I became a Juve fan, but you see, in my childhood our domestic league was pretty strong and we didn't get to watch other leagues at all (except occasionally catching some european matches when the others played Yugoslav teams or the final matches). We all had a favorite domestic club and we didn't care about Italians, English or Spanish football. Then things went to hell in Yugoslavia so people didn't care about football that much. When Suker went to Real in 1996 I followed them a lot too and it was between Real and Juve for me, but the 1998 CL final gave me the final answer that I love Juve and I don't really give a damn about Real so ever since it's only Juve.
That's pretty cool.

But now I remember why you'd prefer Real to smash Barca over and over again. It's because of Davor. :D

Zidane was my favorite player and he went there too :D
But not really. I hated Real so much after the 1998 final that tens of Suker's or Zidane's wouldn't help. Between 1998 and 2006 I preferred Barca to Real. After the 2006 season when Barca started thinking how they're the greatest thing that ever happened to football, I prefer Real again.

That makes sense. I watched a lot of La Liga when ESPN showed weekly matches between 1998 and 2002. Hated Real ever since I first saw them in the 1998 final. Rivaldo and Mostovoi were my two favorite players from Spain, and I really thought Celta was a cool team for some reason. Thank goodness for that fuzzy RAI station out of DC, that's all I'm going to say. :D

It's because they WERE cool. They had many eastern europeans and Brazilians. And Makelele :D

Yawn @ the obvious corruption of the FA. Drogba scoring from 1200 miles offside, JT scoring from a free-kick that was not a free-kick and now Lampard scoring a 'penalty'

I love Man Utd, but I can't take this corruption any more, I'm sick of the bias towards Chelsea by the refs, I think I should just stop following Man United, for the best of my health.
Fuck my life.

I became a Juve fan in early 1997. Some 7-8 months after the CL win. In my time as a Juve fan "I lost" 3 CL finals, that CL semifinal triller with Manchester, the lost scudetto in Perugia, went to serie B and I'm going through this post-calciopoli shit.
Yes, 6 scudetti in the meantime, one of them particularly sweet on May 5th, but the disappointments outnumber the joy

Juve, have mercy on me FFS, please.
Boo-fucking-hoo.

I've seen my team win one trophy and had to suffer countless humiliations.

Oh come on

So there's a manure fan here now?

Anyway, i'm glad we finally won a big game, specially against the scum of earth. :D

Interesting read.

Some classic comments underneath. Maybe Chelsea are favoured in this particular head-to-head, but christ, I wouldn't even want to attempt documenting Utd decisions in just the last 2-3 seasons.

We get some dodgy decisions in our favours, so does Liverpool and Arsenal but Chelsea get the most of those types of decisions and some Pool and Arsenal fans would agree.

Only a yellow.

That's right, the big English national team players get protected more than anyone, Terry, Gerrard, Rooney...
True that, the only English start that doesn't get protected is Rio Ferdinand. He got rightfully banned last season for elbowing Fagan, Rooney got away with it against Wigan, and Gerrard elbowed Danny Welbeck this season and got away with it.
White English players always get the best treatment.
